Battery Discharge level at certain measured voltages

So my first battery has been the innokin iTaste VV/VW 3, and it's been amazing. I have run it down to empty once or twice, but I still don't have a feel for when it is getting close to empty (i.e. the yellow light instead of green). This battery will tell you its current voltage, which maxes out at 4.2 and supposedly goes down to 3.3 before the regulator shuts it off. My question is do the voltage readings represent percentages of how much capacity is remaining? For example, when it hits 3.7, how much of its total capacity remains?

Thanks for any help.

It is not a straight line. Typically more like this:

Over on the Innokin MVP forum the belief for maximum battery life is to charge it often but not quite to it's maximum charge level and to charge it when it hits the 3.7 volt level .

I was at first just waiting till it hit yellow or even red and then recharging till the device turned off indicating it was fully charged but it seemed most who have had it going for over a year have followed a schedule similar to the top method.
