I'm confused by your question. You have a battery that appears to be dead or discharged that doesn't work in at least two mods.

Could it just need to be charged up? Or have you already tried that? What makes you question if it is safe to use?

Do you own and use a voltmeter or multimeter? One or the other should be a basic tool for every vapor. Having one you can test the voltage of the battery to determine if it is safe to use in your mod or charger.

Voltmeter: Meters : 510 Voltage Indicator Rev 2

Multimeter: Meters : UNI-T UT10A Multimeter

All seems too be ok,i put the ''discharged''batt in the charger inside the oven for safety,i pulled it off and it lite up the display in my Vamo and is charging ok,i was concerned about the batts saftey as ive read that a discharged batt was dangerous.I use the volt meter and ohm checker built into the Vamo.
