Battery Indentations Advice?

I've been using a KTS GG clone mech. It seems like it's getting tougher to get the battery to fire, and I've had to keep tightening the mod. As a result, I've noticed that the bottom of my battery (where it's making contact with the center post) is becoming indented. Has anyone else had this issue? Anything to be concerned about? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Much simpler solution.
Clean all thread surfaces with rubbing alcohol.
Scuff all battery contacts with 400 grit sandpaper

NEVER over tighten a Battery. You can cause internal damage/Failure and possibly get injured.

Clean it up good and things should return to normal.
