I wish you wouldn't give up! switching to e-cigs can be as easy as switching brands of cigs but you do have to make some sacrifices:

• small batteries just don't last very long between charges
• you won't find a flavor that tastes like a "real" cigarette
• you have to try a bunch of things before you find a system that's going to work for you
• it's not always perfect, some days are easier than others
• if you want something that looks like a cig, tastes like a cig, works like a cig and you can't be flexible with those requirements then it may never work for you.. but if you can be open to trying a wierd looking battery or a box shaped one or a flavor that tastes like waffles or chocolate or caramel more than it tastes like smokes then there IS an e-cig that'll work for you.

Go ahead and sell your stuff in the classifieds if you want, but you CAN find a set up that will work, you just have to try a few things (and I don't mean try one little baby battery e-cig after another and decide it's just not going to work for you -- that's like buying one pick-up truck after another and getting mad because you can't fit the whole family in it.)

If we knew your smoking habits maybe we could recommend one that will actually work for you, how much do you smoke? How often? at home? in the car? at work? work at a computer or outside? more details the better.

Good luck! :)

Lol no the 400 wasnt just on batteries I got all sortsa other stuff, pcc, pt, juices, backup attys, carts, cartos, some diy stuff..i dont even know what else. Not smart in hindsight but I was excited and really wanted to be sure I had all the stuff I thought Id need to make it work n last awhile... clearly went overboard n also shouldnt have placed so much importance on the need to go cig size but at the time I thought it was a good idea. Gonna sleep on giving up totally, maybe just sell some stuff n upgrade.. will decide when im not angry but id say im a moderate smoker, do vape in car.. very minimally but a bit at work, mostly at home where I tend to vape much more.. Def more than I smoked. And there is some.chain vaping action there when im sittin around on the computer but u dont need to waste ur time anymore than u have already tryin to help.. Tho I do appreciate it u are really sweet. Im just gonna need some time to settle down before I can consider starting to try and figure out the next step.

Funny thing is at first I thought the 510 was too weak voltage wise but just after I got used to it n was convinced it was gonna work fine this happens..wah. I totally sound like the chick in the video u posted now...i am aware of this haha.

Riva 510 from Liberty Flights for $29.99 and $2.99 Priority Mail shipping! Gives you 2 750 Mah Batteries which last me 8-12 hours per battery and lasts my wife almost 24 hours, 2 atties, charger, and 10 cartridges! You existing atomizers from your 510 kit and cartridges will work on them as 510 is just the thread size so almost all 510 stuff fits 510 stuff! If you start smoking the cigs again you will prob spend at least $5 a day so less than a weeks worth of cig money would get you a setup that will last a while!
Been using mine for about 2 1/2 months for $30 Bucks and batteries are still lasting like new! Look at my cig and see the $ savings!
Good Luck!

By the way those battery times are with me being a fairly heavy Vaper!

When I had some battery problems in the beginning my vendor told me to wait until the battery is totally dead before recharging it. I tried it and it did seem to help. I am reluctant to mention it because I know that it's technically not how these batteries are supposed to work and therefor despite the fact that the vendor recommended it and despite the fact that it seemed to work, apparently it was all in my mind. :)

Barring that you could sell a few things and get the eGo passthrough at liberty flights for $21 (after the 20% discount button). You can plug it in using the USB and unplug it and take it with you when you go out. All your 510 stuff with work on it too.

The Riva lite bundle is a great value at $30 too. Again, all your 510 stuff will work on it too.

Try the battery thing (even though technically it's not supposed to work). Just as an after thought, do your batts die out too quickly wether you charge them in the wall or the PCC? Does it make any difference?

Also, how long have you owned this stuff. I think that you can recharge those batts about 300 times (and they get worse the closer you get to that number IMO), for me that would last me about 3-4 months of pretty good full time vaping pleasure -- maybe you just used them up already?

Good luck whichever way you choose to go. :)

(ps, you're not a waste of time:) )

Well I most certainly have not charged them 300 times yet, not even close. I'd say they haven't even been charged up 50x - maybe 30 times at most if I had to guess. And the batteries are already dying completely each time (usually within about 30-45minutes) so they have most definitely been charged after being totally dead, multiple times, and that's not doing a thing for em. May consider these other options here but basically I'd rather gouge out my own eyes then spend anything else on another '510 kit' or anything of that sort... just out of principal! I wish I'd have gotten a RIVA model to begin with, maybe it would work better but I've had this stuff for 3 weeks and 2 days. Also I am experiencing the same problem whether I'm charging on the a/c or the pcc.

Thanks again guys!

One other thing to check - make sure the ends of you batteries and the connector on the charger are clean.

When you clean the contacts on the terminals of the batteries and charger the status led of your charger will stay red longer(charging cycle).
Charging with dirty contacts will cause premature discharge of the charging cycle.
Keep your junk clean.
Your batteries will thank you and put out much more to your vaping satisfaction.
