Ok.
So you hear all about this 'don't use an ego charger on your reg 510'. But what defines the 'ego/Riva/tornado etc' charger? Is it 200mah? 400mah?

I've seen 400mah quick chargers for ego. But my Riva came with a 200mah. Now I was looking to buy a 510 reg charger and noticed many were rated at 200mah.

So. For a regular (not xl) 510 battery, where do you draw the line on mah's?

First the ratings for the chargers are in mA - milliamps (mAh=milliamp hours - a rating for length of time between charges for batteries). I wouldn't go above 150 mA for a regular or mega battery. For the eGo/Riva, the 400mA USB quick charger is best. The 'mains' charger is lower rated and takes longer with an adapter.

That's strange, my Riva 510 came with 420mA output, identical with joye eGo kit which i bought later.

Yeah. The vendor I got mine from was a bit stingy with their wholesaler I guess. The model I recieved is the 'hello' Riva. Turns out it's the cheapest of the three manufactured. I've had it for a little over a month and most of the gold band is worn away, and I have had to cover the batteries and cone with shrink tubing so I don't get embarrassed by the chips and dullness on te black finish.

Anyway. Still works well. Point is. Looking at 510 chargers for sale, many of them are 200mah. Even though the batteries are 180mah or so. Can anyone tell me what the rating on your 510 charger is? I'd appreciate it.
