I was charging my battery for about 10hours and decided to vape with my new build of wick and wire(2folds, 5loops). tested it. put some juice then it is good. and then suddenly it stop working, no vapor(smoke) and also the wire don't glow. I got Telescopic Full Mech with Phoenix V3 Attomizer

BATTERY:
Brand: Efest
mAh= 2000
Imr= 18650
Volts= 3.7v
Version= 2

Efest IMR18650 2000mAh 3.7V Rechargeable LiMn battery - button top

CHARGER

Input: AC100-240V/47-63Hz
Output: 1.2V/370mA
3.6V/320mA

what would be the problem?

Having a multimeter or other items e.g. additional batteries, coils you know work are going to be critical to correctly troubleshooting your problem. You should be able to get a multimeter at your local home improvement store for $20-$30. I can't tell by the picture but the charger looks like a travel charger and I have yet to see one of those worth a damn except in a pinch (I have a few I've gotten in kits). I'd get a better charger like the wf-139 and a second battery. If you have a local vape store you could drop in and get a $2-$3 clearomizer just to test with as well.

Possible culprits:
Bad battery (hook it up to a flashlight bulb to test)
Bad rba to pv connection (is post adjustable?)
bad pv switch
popped coil
bad negative or positive coil connection to post

All of these conditions can be checked with an inexpensive meter, you shouldn't guess, you should eliminate possibilities.

That charger may work (slowly) for Li-ion batteries, but I would never charge an IMR Li-mn on it. You could ruin the battery.

I recently had a charger break. I figured out the charger would blink red and as soon as I turned my back it would turn to green. The only way to keep it red to charge was to hold the battery in place. The charger lost its tension so I ordered another charger and a backup. Since receiving the new charger the batteries have all been working fine.

I'd never use a re wicked delivery device without testing it on a multi meter. Problem with your Mech Mod is there's no protection circuit so if the re wick is done wrong the battery takes the brunt of damage. Tr001 chargers are very low quality.

What is a build with protection circuit? So my battery now is damaged? Or ill just go with xtar mp1s and charge it?

You can't tell unless the battery is tested with a multi meter. As far as I'm concerned a multi meter is a must for all vapers. Can test batteries, chargers, cartos, clearo, attys, etc. I test ALL my cartos and heads before using so I know exactly what ohms they are. Most VV Mods have protection circuitry in them.

Preface: I am not an expert feel free to do your own googling for this info.

In vaping we generally use protected or non protected batteries. An IMR (like yours) is non-protected and is what many devices are specifically built to use. Any documentation that came with your device will tell you what they recommend.

Again, I recommend the wf-139. It has independent charging circuits, handles a multitude of sizes and has never given me a problem. For a $15 price tag you can't ask for much more out of a good battery charger .

I have been using a Trustfire charger for 2.5 years with no issues on li-ion or li-mn batteries. A 2000mAh battery takes 4 hours to charge. I understand that many people do not have the same success that I have had with my trustfire, I must have gotten lucky, especially at the $10 I bought it for. But with 2 more mods and 8 more effest IMRs coming in, I just ordered a nitecore i4 version 2 for $25 on amazon.
Trustfire will be retired or passed on to someone in need. Until my order comes in, the TF is still in use with no problems.

SOLVED. What I did first is check my battery using voltmeter. it shows 4.1v so no problem with my battery, second check my atomizer pole (phoenixv3) and it seems that one of the pole stands too high than other so I pushed it from the top so they will be aline, so that thebattery will power the attomizer. and lastly bought a new charger though my battery charges with my previous charger, it is not qualified. and green light dont appear after 10hour charging. THANKS FOR THE HELP EVERYBODY!

Glad to hear that and also glad you posted your solution. Someone else with the same issue will benefit from this thread.

I'm new to this forum and am hoping someone can help me. Last week I bought my first VV VW mod, an itaste SVT. I bought an EFEST IMR18650 2000 mah battery and a Trustfure TR-001 charger. The problem is that I can't get the charger to fully charge this battery. I'll leave it for 8 hours overnight to charge and when I wake up the charging light on the charger is still red??? I try to use the battery in the mid and it quickly goes from green to yellow to red. I can only get about 90 minutes of Vaping before it's drained. Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you - Chris
