Battery Problem Please Help

I have 6 DSE901 batteries some platinum ans some black.

All but two of them are exhibiting this problem.

When I pull (suck) directly on the battery it is very easy to draw air through. When I put them on an atomizer it is hard to activate the battery in order to vape.

The other two are fine but one is better than the other.

I emailed puresmoker (when I thought it was just one of my batteries) and they got right back to me and told me they would ship one out as soon as they could but it might a longer wait. (no problem)

Is this really a warranty issue or is there a fix? Is this common? I couldnt find a thread to research. Thanks.

given the same device and at least one battery that is functioning correctly, i would say you got some defective batteries.

there are lots of things that people have tried to restore batteries.
everything from blowing/sucking, tapping, refrigerating, rinsing with IPA, compressed air and/or throwing them up against the wall, just to name a few.

i don't like the idea of messing with anything i'm going to leave plugged in.
if it's a warranty item, and i can get by, why bother?
if it was my last one and i was really desperate? i might give it a last ditch effort.

battery problems are just one of the things that seem to go hand in hand with our little hobby. get yourself a passthrough. ;)

Your not supposed to be able to draw air through the battery. Your supposed to be able to just barely suck on it and get the light to come on. It should take hardly any suction at all to activate the light but no air should be coming through. I have 7 batteries and 2 passthroughs and that's how they all operate. The slightest pull on just the battery (or passthrough) activates the LED but no air can be pulled.

I agree, hence the problem. Is there a fix?

There is no problem. The things I described above is how it should be. If yours does the same thing then its working as it should. Your not supposed to be able to draw air in through the battery by itself.

LOL, I know!!!! I Am able to draw air through. Lets put a tent on this circus.

Just kidding - Really though, I can pull air through the batteries (not all of them) to the extent of which I can hear the air rapidly passing through. I can actually suck some air and not activate the battery. It only activates when I suck much harder and get more air to pass through.

When I put the whole e-cig together with these batteries it is very very hard to use it effectively. Regards.
