Keep them dry and you will be fine for a week. The only problem you will encounter is if you are storing them over 6 months then you will need to take them out and charge them to keep them from going completely flat. Li-Ion batteries die for good if run down completely flat.. Chips on the battery will keep you from running them down but when in storage that same chip will run the battery down past the cut off point to absolute flat. So when storing your batteries for long periods of time charge them every six months or less.

Great to know to charge all my extra batteries ,never thought they would be ruined if left in the plastic till needed.Makes sense will be having a "charging backup battery party" tonight and then put a date on the calender 4 months out to do the same thing.Read a lot of post on here and never found this answer till today, so thank and vape on.

Just a note that the real "Death date" for a batt is more like 1.5 - 2years but I suggested every 6 months just to stay on the safe side as most of the batteries we get are custom made in china. So now telling what their date really is.
