Battery quality. Measured in volts or mah??

The 2 most important functions of the battery are
1. Charge lasts full day
2. Battery wont pack up after a month

But Im not sure which is the most important measurement to a battery
I bought the riva (supplied with 2 batts) just the other day which is 650mah
although just clocked this on the forum today for almost the sma eprice

it runs an 1100mah battery

But as I say im not sure if its the mah which is better of the higher voltage or what
Does the mah mean it I'll stay charged for longer or will have longer life span

the larger the mAh number, the longer the battery life per charge. 1100 is excellent.

Will the charger I received for the riva charge both the 1100 and 650 mah batts?
