I am not new to vaping but I am relatively new to mods.
I have an eVic and a VAMO.
When I am selecting batteries, does it really matter if they are flat top or button top?
Why the difference anyway?
I use AW IMR button tops with my eVics. Better drain, performance, less overheating than the flat-top Li-ions that came with it when running higher loads such as 30ga Kanthal RBAs.
Protected batteries will NOT work with a Vamo, I know from personal experience , so go with AW IMRs. I realize that wasn't your question, but I just wanted to make sure you don't make the same mistake I did.
Certain mods do not have the space to accomodate the button tops, such as the first generation Lava Tube clones. However, the provari is designed for the button tops and will not use the flat tops. Check with the supplier on what kind of top the mod requires.
