don't know for sure if this is the case for you but ,
charging a newly unused battery for 2 times the normal charge time,
then vaping for a bit (20 min.)and charge again until its full should make it last longer and off course don't let the battery go totally empty
this way you should have optimal use of your battery

I cant guarantee this but im pretty sure

I love the ego batteries. They last long between charges and are a nice pocket size. I have been using two ego batteries for six months now charging them both just about every day and half and they are still just about the same as day one. I prefer manual batteries to automatic ones as they just seem to be more durable.

well when this one dies is there a better battery of setup anyone can suggest?

More mah = longer battery life, longer between charges. You get about 1 hour per 100 mah of continous vaping.

Either have more batteries in rotation or go for a larger battery pv.

Well, there is nothing wrong with the Apollo batteries in general, so not really a suggestion for a better similar battery.

As others have said, you'll get better results from the same size of battery if you get a manual instead of automatic.
And you'll get more vaping time between charges if you move away from the cigarette-sized models.

So I've been vaping for almost an month now and my automatic batter is kind of getting hard to hit is that usual? and its not my cartos because i put them on my gf's battery and they work just fine is there a way to fix this or does my battery just suck?

Everybody seems to be pushing getting another *bigger* battery.. That's an option, of course, but may not be necessary. You've only had these batteries a month. I PROMISE you they ought not to be wearing out that soon!! Cleaning the battery threading with a isopropyl alcohol (or any PGA alcohol) on a cotton ball..just damp, not wet, by gently but firmly going over the threads with it, then check the vent holes under the treading (either on the battery or on the cartomizers...I am not familiar with Apollo). Put a pin or needle into those holes and gently wiggle it around to clear any gunk out. Often times that is all it takes to get your battery working fine again. I've don't it many times...and am surprised every time! lol! Also...if those are KR808D-1 threaded, check the little post in the center of the threaded end of the battery. You may need to gently lift it up just a bit (CAREFULLY) with the tip of a pen...insert alongside and use the wall of the battery as a fulcrum to gently lift all the way around...a fraction of a mm, really. That can help with the connection.

Manual Batteries are much more Reliable than Auto's.

It may seem Funky pushing a Button at first, but after a Couple of days, you Won't Even Notice.

There is a way that Sometimes works to Fix an Auto that is Hard To Draw or Not Working. But it should be used as a Last Resort.

And that is to Flush it with 91% Rubbing Alcohol a few times. And then Shake it Out, Blow It Out and then let it Dry for at Least a Day.

Try This at your Own Risk.

Contact Apollo. I just looked at their site and see they have a 1 year warranty.

Li bats have like some 250+ charge cycles way more if you don't let them drain. If bats are constantly wearing down it's due to cleaning, defective or being sold some second rate crap. I can't tell you how much better in quality my Ego Twists are than that Smokeless Image X2 stuff that literally broke in 6 weeks. If you have a big quality bat and it's not hitting the right charge numbers, it's some piece of crap knockoff. 808s go faster cause you're probably recharging a ton.

Throw a defective battery away. Don't mess with it unless you need to. You want some defective crap in your charger? Your mouth? It's not worth $12 to revive an 808d you killed with rewiring or flushing. IMO.
