So I have had my Grand for 24 hours now and the battery still seems to be going strong. I thought to myself this is the first mod I have had that will not flash at me when my battery is dead.

So I ask you vets out there how will I know. Will it slowly fade until I get very little VTF or will it just stop totally? I am using brand new AW IMR 18650's, 2000mAh batts.

Oh and I was right, the wifey already wants one of her own! LOL!

It will slowly fade. They come off the charger around 4.2 v and when they drop off to around 3.8 ish you will feel the vape getting cooler.

So you are enjoying that bad boy huh? I am likin my grand too! Was using minis until a few hours ago.

Hot off the charger your batts should be a little over 4.2v. You need to recharge long b4 going dead, I do abot 3.7v. So slowy fade is what you'll get. You will notice a decline in vapor production and juice nut being as flavor. After awhile you will know exactly when to swap batts.

Yer wifey is a smart cookie ;)

Ok good to know. Thanks.

Yes I'm enjoying it very much. Still getting use to an atty but it seems to be working fine. Only thing I hate is forgetting to squonk enough juice into and the getting that dry atty taste! That will wake you up!

You'll get better after awhile. Then it'll be instinctive or second nature

Having a multimeter to check voltage is a handy thing to have especially when things are new. When the vape seems to be cool or unsatisfying is the time to change out a battery on a mechanical mod. At first it might be good to change it out when you've caped 2 ml or so just because you can. IMRs should not be discharged too far as it can shorten the useful life of a battery. Most manufactures will say not to discharge below 2.5 volts. Other vapers will say 3.5 volts which I believe is very conservative. When the vape weakens throw in a fresh one.

New IMRs will take a few charge cycles before they reach their best efficiency. It doesn't hurt to recharge lithium ions at any time other than running them down too far.

Having a multimeter is very handy for checking your charger, batteries and your atomizers.

+1
Multimeter is the best way to check everything imo.

You can buy these to check voltage & Ωs

Will the one that screws between the atomizer and the battery connector allow juice to flow through?
I have been wanting to get one.

If it has a hole on the bottom of where it screws on to the PV yes it will allow juice to flow through. But I don't think you'd want that to happen...

You can vape something that already has juice in it, but you don't want to be feeding it through the meter.

No. Juice would have to go through the meter if it could at all. That would ruin the meter.
