[h=1]Efest Purple IMR18650 3100mAh 3.7V 20A High Drain Battery - Flat Top[/h]http://www.smoktek.com/Efest-Purple-IMR18650-3100mAh-37V-20A-High-Drain-Battery--Flat-Top_p_1201.html

Is this a good battery for use with the Vamo V6?

Charger to charge battery: Nitecore DigiCharger D2

It says 3.7V but on a full charge does it go to 4.2V?

And more importantly, is this safe to use?

I just watched a youtube video of an Ultra Fire battery easily exploding (what a hell of an explosion too) and now I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to batteries. Especially since I just told my friend 2 hours ago to put oven mits on and put his e-cigarette outside. (His battery is like 300 degrees he said)

For a Vamo that battery is fine. The D2 is also a decent charger.

A fully charged battery will show 4.2 on your charger yes, and I would be comfortable using it in my Vamo.

Just be aware that it is labelled as a 35amp battery - that is peak amp draw not continuous. For a Vamo it's fine, but if you ever decide to go down the mechanical route, it's actually a 20 amp battery.
