P.A.
As some know i picked up a used Provari. the batteries i have AW IMR 18650 1600MAH. what my question is, is how long should a battery last from full charge to it needs to be charged. i know it all depends on the vapor but i get maybe 6 hours out of a full charged battery. my question is, are my batteries whooped? do i need a new set? like i said it was a used purchase. my charger is a true fire multi functional. it came with the original ProVari kit.

my next question is can some one point me in the right direction for a new set of 18650`s that will function in my pv. possibly even a charger if that could be the case. i would like a higher MAH but i`m not sure how high i can go with the Provari or even if thats a concern.

Are you using standard or LR atty/cartos? And what kind of voltage have you been running?

The IMRs are high drain, and have a much lower mAh rating than the regular 18650s. (ie, you won't see IMR 18650s at the 2400 mAh) (i believe...sorry if I'm wrong)

But from what I've heard (especially on a ProVari and fancy stuff with LCDs) you want a high drain as it can pull much more amperage at a time.

one last edit...
Provape.com - We recommend only using AW IMR high drain batteries in your ProVari

Nothing is too much!....unless maybe if it's making real smoke :p
However, the more you increase the voltage, the more power you will draw/use. I personally don't own a ProVari, but now you have all the necessary info for somebody to help you more :)

power = (voltage*voltage) / resistance or (V^2)/R

Check this link out. 6 hours seems to be the norm with DCC + 18650 on a provari
