Hey guys,
I bought my vaping kit 2 month ago while i was in Latvia, and since they guy who worked there was russian (and i dont speak russian) I bought my stuff without much info about it.
So i need some help please ....
1- What is the Minimum and Maximum watts to use with that setup ?
2- What Preheat setup should i set ?
3- should I mess with temp control or should i leave it as it is at 130C ?

Any extra info is highly appreciated !!
Note: Coil mid is a double Demon Coil - tank is a Griffin 25 plus - and the vap is a fuchai 213 plus.

Thanx

#1. Go by taste and performance.
If it is set too low it will take forever to produce vapour and set too high it will do the opposite, overheat or taste burnt. Find middle ground.

#2. 10-20 watts higher than your wattage setting.

#3. If performance or taste is too weak or too cool for you inch the temperature up gradually every few puffs. If it starts getting too hot too quickly turn the temp back down a bit until you are happy with it.

It's all personal preference. Only you will know what the best setting is. (for you!) My replies are not right or wrong...only a guideline on where to start. Cheers.

Fair enough. But isnt there a safe zone so the battery would not blow up or overheat ? I vap at 60 watts but i see people normaly vaping at 140.

If you have quality 20 amp or better cells 60 watts per battery is considered well in the safe zone. But if the batteries are only 10 or 15 amp cells asking 60 watts per cell will be stressing them greatly.

Running as you are now at 60 watts it's only 30 watts per cell.

I cant understand the people vaping over 100w

My personal setups let me go from 40-60w ..but i'm vaping 12-15mg/ml and a max of 3ml (most time its 2ml) per day.

The higher the nic, the lower the costs of vaping is my calculation... In temp mode I'm new (tasting for 2 weeks now)

U can vape ss (stainless steal) in wattage-mode too.
0.18 would usually lead me to 50w to start I guess.
Personally with close to closed airflow.

I started vaping 5years ago, that's what leads me to where I'm now.

Thanx man. Thats very close to the setup i am using now. I was just worried about the safety issues after watching and reading alot of .... happening to people when they do not know what they are doing.
It's better to ask than being sorry later ...
Vaping has a lot of "Science" behind it, The battery, the liquid, the atomizer ... There should be a Vaping university somewhere to teach us these things :D

U r right, a lot things to know came for me time by time.
If u r not vaping on the mod-max-wattage and u don't use the cheapest batteries u avoid the most dangerous things I think.

If u have more questions feel free to ask.
Why r u vaping? Quit smoking? What u expect from vaping? Clouds, nicotine, .. ?
Or u just want the most inexpensive?
Most difficult-free?
R u able to rewick urself the coils?

A thing I learned: stick to one or two atomizers, to learn the wicking to perfection an leakfree. (Had nice 3 years to my fogger v.4 till now)

Welcome to ECF @B4Blur !

Sounds to me like your most important concern is battery safety. If so and you are unsure about the batteries you have (what brand and are they authentic?), considering the small cost of a couple or 4 batteries, read some of Mooch's information linked above and get some quality batteries. I'm not sure where you are now, so it is hard to suggest where. Then you can work on the other questions safely. Good luck!

The batteries are authentic and ok. I am using the Sony VTC6. I just dont want them blowing in my face cause of me doing something stupid :D

Well i used to smoke cigarettes alot but hated it since i started very young and i play sports. I could clearly feel the downsides of smoking as i age. but since i started early, its very hard for me to quit. and even if i do quit for a year, i go back to it as soon as life difficulties strike.

I considered vaping but asking friends who did that what vaping came out, they gave me the feedback that it does not replace cigarettes and that i will still need to smoke every now and then. Also watching videos of vaps exploding made me think twice, not to mention that it's still new and the effects of the chemicals in it is still not known and studied very well. When cigarettes came out they were marketed as "Healthy" too.

During my last trip i saw a nice vap shop so i decided to give it a try and go with it better than the side effects of the cigarettes that were annoying me anyway. which i did.

I still dont know when to change the coils, the guy told me averagely 2 month for the coils i am using. they are ready made. and i still have problems with how much cotton to use while wicking and passing it through the coils. also some tank leaking problems. but i guess i'll learn and ask in other forum parts cause i think this is just for battery mod questions.

and now i am vaping for 2 month. not a single cigaret smoked. and asking for help from professional vapors so the experience would continue in a good way :D

Thanx for the advice

You should be good with those batteries! Mooch rates them higher then the stated 15A rating, so up to about 100 watts should keep you in the safe zone. I have a Sigelei 213 and a Fuchai 213 (not the Plus) using 20A batteries and do push their limits briefly, but only on fully charged batteries.

Only other suggestions for battery safety are to keep the pair "married" in use and charging and I prefer to alternate their placement in use and when charging. And although there are differing viewpoints on this, I prefer external charging making alternating their position quite easy.

Many Friends tried vaping too, but many of them quit it because "its not the same as a cig"
For me it was about one year where I vaped and sometimes smoked, but I think if u r using more nic per ml u have a better feeling to "not smoke a cig now" - personally for me that was it.

U can learn a lot by watching wicking-videos for your atomizer.

Keep on vaping! Don't go back to cigs.

I'd be concerned that being a true 3000mAh battery. The mAh gives you runtime, the Amps give you the power and more important.

The true label is imprinted on the metal case of the case, but I wouldn't take the wrap off the battery, unless you or someone can rewrap the battery. Never use a battery that has damage to the wrapping. It is usually imprinted on the wrapping if OEM and under that sticker they put over it.

Hope this helps.

Hello and thank you for the tip.
you got me sceptic for a few minutes so i took the white sticker off it to check it. I found it was authentic according to the logo, Serial number, Q code ect.. i wont ofcourse peel off the green casing as i do not want to damage it. but it was good to to check if it was authentic or not. specially that the place where i bought it from was a famous vap equipment and liquid chain all over the country and not just a small shop across the road :D

Thanx again
