Just a shot in the dark here- but are you using coils that you rebuilt? I have had some issues with rebuilding my own coils. They will test with ohms in an okay range, fire fine on my I pro or my Provari, but if I try to fire them on my ego (usually using it to dry burn after cleaning) it will read a short. I have had this kill several sets of batteries. I am trying to decide of I am going to try to improve my coil building proficiency or just pay the 3 bucks or so to buy new heads.

i think this could be the problem, i'll be getting my multimeter back from a friend of mine tomorrow and test the bats.
i'm used to having a voltage indicator on my evic and semovar so i think i use them to long and discharged them to low.

thanks for the tips guys/girls

You’re using them on a Mech? Are you discharging them below 3 volts? I have a charger that refuses to charge batts that have discharged below 3.2 volts. Plus discharging them below 3.2 volts can damage the batteries and possibly be dangerous.
