I saw a new item on madvapes site....the Bauway XL CE2 Style Clear Ceramic cartomizers. I was wondering what the deal was with these. Has anyone tried them yet? I guess it was only a matter of time before other companies started manufacturing the ceramic cartos.

Me too....I expect that they'll be comparable to the Royal Smoker CE2's. I was fishing around on the net and it appears that there are other manufacturers coming out with their own versions of the CE2 as well.
If they work better, I hope they come out in steel tube. I can't use clear ones for my tanks and I can't use them by themselves because I break them too easily.
Well, hopefully, Bauway have cracked (ahem!) the problem of the plastic being liable to sudden separation!

If they are like Madvapes clear dc's we have no problem. Those clear tubes
are not easy to take off and a lot thicker than regular clearo's

I just looked at MV'S and they say the RS xl clearomizers hold 2.5ml ?
Are these newer models ? all my old RS xl clearo's are in syringe mods
so I cant measure the ml's from the tubes that came with them, and mine have the fat wicks also.

It looks like they have some kind of ribbed plug that fits over the ceramic cup. It's kind of hard to tell from pictures. I guess I'll have to order a pack and see for myself.

I would have them in my cart and be looking for my credit card if I hadn't bought a Provari recently.
I just placed an order for DC cartos the day before they were posted on the site! As for the ProVari, I'm totally jealous! I'm ordering one as soon as I can afford to blow $160.00 +.
It pains me to post this, but I purchased in this order.
DSE109, RN4081, Blu, KR808, Joye 510 Auto, Another Joye 510 Auto, eGo Auto, eGo Manual, Box Mod VV and then a Provari.
I could have saved one heck of a lot of Money if I had just Bought the Provari First. Because it is the Absolute Best.
The only thing that keeps my Sanity is that the Provari Didn't exist when I started vaping.
BTW - The 18490/18500 Provari with 2 Batteries, Charger and eGo Extender was about $120. Best $120 I ever spent.
Well...look at it this way...you have all that other stuff in your collection now and in the rare instance when a carto or atty won't work in the ProVari, you have a back up.
Actualy I have given most of it away to people who wanted to try out an e-Cig but didn't want to fork out the cash for a new kit. Some of the people I gave things to have given it to another person after seeing that e-Cigs work and is a great alternative to analogs.
Funny to think. But there might be someone on the ECF, maybe even reading this thread, that has one of my old PV's in their hands right now.
I saw these in the newsletter and look forward to reviews. It looks like they have a one piece ribbed 'G4' like cup seal. Should be easier to take in/out. We shall see.
OK. I literally just got mine in the mail 15 minutes ago. 510 XL @ 2.5 ohms on a Riva with 24mg BWB Backo juice.

The plugs are different and easy to remove and install (ribbed for our pleasure), but you will need a sharp needle to fill (22 guage). The 18 guage blunt I normally use wouldn't fit. The coil lights up like a xmas tree and it is wound nice and tight unlike the RS CE2s (which are willy nilly). A word of caution: DO NOT DRY BURN WITH THE TUBE ON!!!! I lit it up twice and it began to melt the tube. I now have a crooked tube on the carto, but it still works. So far it is wicking like a mutha and the taste is clean and crisp, with a wicked throat hit.
These will be my new go to cartos.

Great update, glad to hear the filler ring comes off easily. How is the plastic tube to get off/on??
