Hi there,

Newbie here. This is actually day two on ECF and day 7 of vapeing. Also day 7 without a cigarette. I owe it all to a store I found in Berkeley, CA on telegraph that specializes in Joytech stuff. Also carry kanger, vision, and vivi nova clearos, but thats about it. May not sound like much, but its really a godsend in comparison to the other head shops in the area. Most of these head shops don't carry eGo vapes, and those that do have no idea what it is they are trying to sell me (some overpriced knockoff eGo style). This one pushy guy in Waylon's (a popular shop, not sure why) was trying to argue with me about how an eGo is a brand of ecig, not a style. Anywhoo, can anyone here recommend any quality vape shops in the bay area other than the vape den on telegraph? I think there's a second vape den in sf, but carry the same stuff as the berkeley store. Don't get me wrong. The Vape den is amazing and are really providing the local community a service. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here. But I am just looking to venture out into some more advanced and mod territory. Looking for more options i guess.

If you live in the bay area/east bay, where do you buy your supplies? or do you buy online? So far that seems like the best route.

Velvet Cloud Vapor in SF is good for juice, but I don't think they have a physical store.

they dont, i emailed them about this before asking if i can try their juice in person. They said that Head Rush on Haight St. sells their juice in store.

Personally, I buy most of my hardware from online because its cheaper than the store. I like to go to the store to try out flavors and get small things, but for bigger purchases, its all about online. I buy from USA vendors, so i dont have to wait a month for my stuff. Im still trying to find "my perfect flavor" from various vendors online. Once you start buying juice online, the selections are endless!

The store I go to is It Is Vapor in redwood city. they have other locations, but that ones the closest for me.

There is a place in Berkeley called Vapor den, I have not been there just found it online.

Vapor Den is a great place to start out. I recommend it to people as a great place for beginners, but their merch stops at joytech eGos and T3/Nova's. They are the only shop in town that seems to know anything about mid ranged vape stuff. Every other shop on telegraph ave lack any real understanding in terms of ecigs, and non hash/ herbal vapes. It's like there's a vaccum in the market when it comes to more advanced stuff. Might be an ideal time to open a business that specializes in that stuff. But then again, like everyone says, Its hard to beat online pricing and selection.

I'd second Vapor Den as a good pace to go if you're just starting out, but if you know what you're doing you're probably not going to find anything new, and if you start asking about things outside their immediate sphere of knowledge (which pretty much begins and ends at eGo-type hardware), you're likely to get blank stares back. Oh, and their juice is mediocre at best, but I found it handy to be able to pick up Liqua juice locally when I was starting up and hadn't built up a stash yet, and you can try it out in-store.

My usual stop is the San Francisco location, since I work not far from there. I haven't tried the Berkeley one.
