I just ordered a BB and the corresponding 3.7v battery. However, I've been reading a lot about vaping with 5v, or even 6v, and I was wondering if there is a SAFE mod that will allow me to do this with the BB? I do not want to do anything unsafe (they are very clear about not using un-protected batteries - I'm not sure what can go wrong, but I'll follow the advice).

Can any BB owners out there tell me how I can do this?

Thanks,
Matt

Consider the PT for the BB and the variable usb radio shack power supply 5v, 6v no problem with nice vapor and no blown atty's (keep em wet) been borrowing my son's for night time vaping using the BB with it's PT out of this world. His BB is a nice unit as well. If I gotta be out for the day, I'll borrow it and at 3.7 that battery (14500's I think) kick all day with nice vape at 510. When we originally ordered it the plan was to use the cr2's ,but Altsmoke then advised against it, with good cause. I'm waiting for my own HV unit myself, but I love his BB at 3.7 on the road and exceptional with the PT.

I went through the same thing when I was deciding which PV to buy first, 3.7v, 5v, or 6v. I then thought I was trying to quit smoking as well as cut down on nictotine so I really didn't want to be getting huge amounts of nicotine at once, and I didn't want to continually burn out attys or buy the HV attys.

I can tell you my 2nd PV, the 3.7v eGo with a direct drip cartridge produces mass amounts of vapor and the drags are nice and easy. At this point I can't see myself moving to a 5v, or 6v, no good reason to.

Thanks for the input... Maybe I'll just wait to get my BB and try it at 3.7v before I splash out on the 6v mod and HV attys. Do you think I'll still be able to get adequate hit/vapor using my BB at 3.7v? Any tips or tricks?

I just looked at the vapor production in a mirror and now I wouldn't say I get more vapor then a 5v/6v, it's comparable. And I took the atty cover off and tried it, I get about the same amount of vapor maybe a bit less, the drag is a bit easier since there's more air flow. I'm starting to get a headache from testing this:)

By the way, I'm fairly new to all this so take what I say with that in mind.

I found the LifePO4 CR2 Batteries... They are at protectionsupplies.net. I cannot post the like as I am a newbie (lots of weird rules about what and where you can post in this forum, btw..)

Anyway, if anyone wants the link, PM me...

They are only $14.99 with the charger. I figured I'll try them out just to see what all the fuss is about. If 6v is that much better, I may buy an SB and do 6V on that, so it's completely safe.
