Finally, all is good after several mis-steps on my goal of starting 2012 as a recent non-smoker.

Since I charged my new AW IMR 18650 Hi Drain batteries, installed one into my Indulgence V3, fastened a Boge LR filled with RY4 and it was Love at First vape:vapor:

A massive cloud of sweet, mellow vapor entered soon to be followed by a big smile. Best of all is that first battery is still hitting hard after 8+ hours of fairly heavy use, it's other is fully charged and awaiting its turn to delight ;-)

To other Newbies, A Few Words for you if you don't mind:

1) If first your PV doesn't seem to work as advertised, come here to the ECF forum and ask questions! Many here will happily offer you advice from thier experiance.

2) Purchase the best quality Battery you can! This was part of my first mis-step. When I ordered my Indulgence V3 from Elite Vaporworks nearly two week ago, "I" chose to try and save a few bucks and bought the package with the Trustfire batteries, only to discover they could not handle the task at hand and quickly failed. Thankfully I picked a great vendor/supplier and they happily not only sent a set of replacement Trustfires (Now Backups) but also sold me the Aw IMR's at a discount, giving me the charger at no charge plus free shipping.

3) There will be many mistakes, mis-steps and errors! You to are new to this and there is a learning curve, which can again be lessoned by coming here and asking questions.

With this said, Thanks to the Many Veteran Vapors here and Jason at Elite Vaporworks for all the advice, assistance and words of support.

Keith

Mooreted, The Indulgence is a beast - It feels almost indistructable!

I hope you ordered or have a set of the AW IMR 18650 Hi Drain batteries - They made the differance ;-}

You can also use two cr123A's stacked for 6v vaping pleasure. I should have my ordered with charger in the next day or two - As soon as then come available at Elite Vaporworks.

Beaver, I think it took somethink like two hours to charge the first battery, although they were both in the charger. The second went "Green" about an hour later.

Mooreted - I hope you have better luck with the trustfire's then I did. Hopefully it was just bad batteries on my part.

No Analogs smoked in over twenty four hours - Still Vaping on the first battery :vapor:

Mooreted, sorry in the delay to reply to your question. I don't think 18490's will work, but I could be wrong. I checked Elite Vaproworks website and they are no longer listed. Shoot Jason an email and ask if they have any, if they do, he'll reply really fast.

Lilac7776 - Thanks:)

One note: I ordered the 3.2v's with charger so I can vape at 6v if I like. Two sets. Gotta have a back up set.

See, I'm learning:p

Yah, when I decided to upgrade from my 808D starter pack, I tried Trustfire batteries and the charger recommended for them and was not satisfied. I then went to an all-mechanical mod, AW batteries, and a Pila charger (about 9 months ago) and never looked back.

FYI, I bought my stuff at Lighthound.com which is a reputable site with excellent prices.
