Yes indeed, Everytime I tried to relocate to another part of the country, winter would come and I would end up hauling ... back to Tucson. Guess I'm a real sissy when it comes to cold weather.
woke up to nice sun, and it's going to warm up about 80 today, go fig. last week was raining and cold...been going from tshirts to sweater back and forth for a while. can't pack either away yet. oh well

WyattZ - So you don't think 17 degrees is cold?
I was kind of kidding... 17 degrees is pretty chilly, but it will get much colder here this winter (I live in northern WI)
On the plus side, if it gets to be 40 below they close the schools so the kiddies don't freeze waiting for the bus
here in Tucson if it gets 17 no one leaves the house that day. 1/4' of dusting snow on the roads means snow day for the schools
I dont remember it ever getting that cold here, it may get below freezing a time or two but it does snow, rarely and it don't stay on the ground long.

I grew up in El Paso and can remember school closing a couple of times just due to cold. I also remember the freak snowstorm we got one year. We got 2 feet of snow and the city ground to a halt.
Now that I am in Western PA 2 feet of snow is not uncommon but will still get the kiddies a day off.

ok fair enough, how about the job of sweeping the sidewalk out front , i hear some old gummer had it, but he went on vacation and hasn't shown up for a while.

For me, I am tired already of these winds, been thru alot last few days and the yard is a wreck. Big limbs barely missing the window and landed on the roof. Spent two and half hours today(after working 6 hours) breaking branches into smaller bits..it's so dried out wasn't a problem, just worried now about sparks. Winds are back..gonna be a long night...sorry venting..I'm vaping like a freight train...sigh

It's been very nice here lately. Highs in the low to mid 70s and lows in the high 50s/low 60s. I love the weather here this time of the year.

freezing cold, by tucson standards, and heavy fog this morning. was cool
