Good deal, plus the Boss told you to get home in one piece.

Saw a truck today with Tennessee plates hauling a flatbed load. Behind the cab, on the passenger side, was something that looked like a small, tubby, silo. Perhaps, roughly, 12" x 24". Thought it said "ViewPac" (PacView?) but can't find anything about it. It looked new but awful large for a GPS unit. Any clue what it was?

Very much like the third one, tad longer, but that nails it. LOL sat TV, lucky dog. [emoji38]
There's a lot of guys who live in their trucks. Many are up and over $150,000 investments easily just for the tractor.

May not be as lucky as it seems.

Fair enough. We don’t get TV or have cable so I just think of anybody that does as a lucky dog. Except when we go to a motel, have 400 channels and there’s nothing to watch. :(

Your answer brings another question I've been curious about; how many truckers travel with pets, that you've run into? Some must, legal or illegal. We accidentally shot over the Nevada boarder with our bunny, long (23 years) ago and came back through a California boarder station approximately 30 minutes later. Luckily, the boarder guard believed us and didn't confiscate him. There would have been hell to pay if they took him, but we'd never even gotten out of the car on the Nevada side. Anyway, pets for company has to be a growing trend.

Hope the weather treats you more kindly today. What's our next stop?

Ahhh! I see. Come to think of it, that's not your first mention of no t.v. love.

I'd say maybe 5% of otr truckers might travel with their pets. Probably a high estimate.

Not sure how the trend is going, but do know the ones I know result in unsanitary conditions fast.

1 cat in your truck is like having 20 in your bedroom, easy.

Often scheduled appointments don't allow much time to clean up after them, either.

My next stop is home town. Not sleeping right this week. Didn't have focus to share with a camera and windy mountain highways today.

But i can share pre-ink mod pics...
