Bedazzle Glass Tubes

Loves them!!! Very cool indeed!
Hope everyone is having a great evening! I feel awful about saying this but the company goes home on Friday! It's been great having SOME of them here and I'll be sad to see them go but I'm tired and it's been extremely stressful at times. Oh, and we'll find out on Friday what the next grandbaby is!!!!

I was playing around today with faceting/shaving and came up with these tanks. I was trying to taper the tops of the thick wall tanks. I can polish them to a mirror finish but that takes along time.

Poppin in to say hi!! So are these tubes 20 mm as opposed to 19? And both fit the lava caps? Just trying to figure it all out. So these frosted tubes would then be decorated with metals and jewels? Well heck! I like that!!

Their 22mm and they fit the JB ends perfect. What I was thinking for the people who didn't like the thick walls was to try and make them more attractive. The tapering of the tube end helps make the tank look more finished, even using thick wall glass. I'm trying to convince you guys that thicker just might be better in the long run. Maybe.... I'm still not completely sure. I will still do the electroforming like normal along with faceted ends. What do you Dazzels say?

I love the option of both the thick glass and flush with the end caps. I AM a total klutz, but also would be totally bugged by having the glass edge wider than the tank. So, having both would be great! It looks like it would be a lot of work though?

These are cool looking just like they are. IMO you shouldn't bother polishing them out. I like the frosted look. It gives them more class.

If I would polish them out they would look like cut crystal...
