Hey all,

It's been quite a while since I've been on the forums. I've been vaping a no ego mod with avid hh. 357 lr atties and Kick bass vapor juice and I've been extremely satisfied.

I'm posting again because my mother has finally decided to give e-cigs a shot after years of failing to quit smoking. I haven't really been up to date with the e-cig technology for at least a year so I'm not exactly sure what to get her and could use some advice.

I need to find a pen style battery (preferably 510), PCC, and cartomizers for her. I really liked the joye 510 manual with 510 dual coil cartos but I heard Volt and I think she would want to have prefilled cartos. How is the reputation for the volt kits? Any suggestions would be great appreciated. Thanks!

I'm very new to this, so not sure how valuable my opinion is but I got a Volt and I love it (although I don't think the Volt is a 510, right?) It's very user-friendly and good for someone just starting out IMHO.

Thanks! I think she would prefer prefilled cartos so it would be really nice if the unit was not proprietary and I could buy prefilled cartos with good tasting juice for her. Who has the best reputation for pre filled cartos?

hmm... for starter kits pretty much any 510 starter will do... i highly recommend VaporKings.com
for the pre-filled... i havent really seen too many sites with pre-filled except for usually 1-2 tobacco flavor or a menthol.

I love Volt. I tried another very crappy kit (901 I think?), then got online and found a 501 kit... and didn't like it. It was far heavier than a cigarette, made loud whistling noises when trying to use it, and the cartridges tasted like crap. I looked around, watched some videos, and found the Volt. Their own flavors are good.... I just got bored after a while because the selection is limited (although better than anywhere else I've seen prefilleds). Prefilleds for the Volt, Bloog, and Smoov are all the same thing.

Your opinion is JUST as valuable as anyone else, and probably more so than most, since you actually use a Volt !!
Yes, the Volt is a KR808D not a 510.

I have a Volt and also some other 808's and they all fit together fine. I sometimes use 510 cartos with my 808 batteries using an 808-510 attachment. Works pefectly!
