I'm still poking around. I'm also shopping for my husband in addition to myself, he's not a heavy smoker and is one of those types you hate who can smoke everyday for a week and then not pick them up for months with no cravings or anything but I figure we'll go it together and no temptation, etc. It's like the skinny woman who can eat cake all day and never gain a pound!
Anyway... I'm really loving the idea of the iTaste MVP 2 for him, he works long hours and always has his Kindle and iPod on him and that added benefit of him being able to charge his things off of that device is very, very appealing. It's also quite a sexy and solid looking piece and he can be tough on his things. I personally dig the look of box mods, I always have so I MAY spring for one of them for myself but I'm not 100% yet. A question on the MVP if anyone knows, is there a wall/car adapter available for that USB for charging? I'm only seeing a USB and it would be really nice to be able to charge it off the wall.

But yes, so many to look at. I'm like a kid in a candy store with all these websites.

I just got my MVP 2 and absolutely love it. I use it with the Evod toppers, which is a sleek look. The Evods are simple to use, just fill with juice and screw on to the device. I already had a wall charger for my egos which has a USB port, so I just plug the MVP USB into it and the charger into the wall. I'm sure a wall charger with a port will be easy to find, but the MVP does not come with one, you are correct.

I will say that the battery life on the MVP 2 is really amazing. When I got mine it came fully charged, and I used it heavily for 2 days before it needed to be charged!

Here is a link to where I got mine. It's a reliable vendor, with free shipping, and a good price, $41.99. This particular deal comes with an Iclear clearomizer, and also a free pack of 12 really attractive vinyl "wraps" so you can customize the look if you want to. Look on ebay for MVP wraps to see what they look like. They cost $4.99 each, and this deal comes with 12 of them.

 Well... I went on a little bit of a shopping spree yesterday and I bought the following from four different suppliers:

2 iTaste MVP's in Rugged Steel-
The cheapest places were out of the steel, which I had my heart set on for my husband and I- as a side note- I plan to doll mine up with rhinestones and crystals and god knows what else... so I paid a little more but I was happy to in order to get what I wanted. I went through Mt. Baker Vapor. I've never ordered from them before but they happened to have them in the steel for a reasonable price, plus included a bottle of juice with each "kit" so I chose Blue Moo juice for one and Black Clove for the other and because I used their livechat to ask a question about their juice, I got a coupon for 10% off my order as well as took advantage of their free shipping. I feel good about what I spent with the coupon code and the free shipping. Got an email this morning that my order already shipped :)

After that I trotted over to CigNot (who was my favorite supplier of goods my first time around with vaping!) and ordered some various things (previously my all-time fav juice that I would vape all day long was the Basic's Forbidden in 12mg, followed closely by the Basic's English Toffee) so I ordered those two juices, plus a Menthol and a small bottle of Cherry Cola (for my husband the Coke lover). I also grabbed a couple pretty swirly drip tips in various candy bright colors, and some of the colored replacement glass for the Kanger Protank 2 (I ordered those from the third place!) so I can make them pretty! (This is very important! *nods*) I'm trying to remember if I bought anything else there- nope that was it there. Cignot has also already shipped my order (I remember they had BLAZING shipping last time around).

I had found in my travels and links people giving to me that Vaping Me has the cheapest (I could find) prices on the Pro tank 2 which I felt confident buying after all the youtube vids I'd been watching. So considering that there is me and hubby who will be vaping, I bought 4 of the things from Vaping Me, all with clear glass (hoping to learn what kind of paint is safe on them to deco them, I'm very artsy). That was all I ordered from Vaping Me.

After that I decided to go check out and see if Ms. T's Bakery was still alive and kickin' (obviously it is!) and I ordered the following flavors from there all in 18mg strength, small bottles so hubby and I can taste test (some are silly, I was feeling brave!):

Bacon French Toast
Bavarian Cream Filled Doughnut
Blueberry Pancakes
Buttered Popcorn (HAD TO, my husband is a Movie Theater manager lol)
Cola
Peanut Butter Cookies
Pizza (I don't even.... I just... lol I'm thinking it's going to be BAD but worth a laugh!)
Rootbeer Float
Snickerdoodle Cookies
Vanilla Custard

Other than that, I tore old boxes apart yesterday evening and found 3 eGo batteries, 12 (!!) 510 batteries and a tangled octopus mass of chargers, a 510 passthru, a 510 PCC, 6 510 atty's (3 still in packaging), 2 stainless drip tips, and some nearly 3 year old eJuice that got chucked promptly (My Blackberry juice from Vermont Vapers smelled like Frito chips, no joke! I nearly gagged!)....
So um, I've got STUFF. lol I think I'll be ok, excited for things to arrive!!!

Hi Jenna, my name is Jenna too :) Here's what I recommend: either a Vision Spinner (or ego if you prefer) and/or the itaste vv 3.0 Innokin iTaste VV (V3) Express kit - 101 Vape Great price at this site but only left in stock is black. Then since you liked cartos, treat yourself to an ibtanked IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us! the 19mm goes perfect with the itaste. In the meantime you could get a simple evod clearomizer, or if you're on a tight budget. Kanger Evod Clearomizers Hope this helps. Good luck! You're doing the right thing :)

This! is some solid advice Jenna.

TO OP:
You mentioned that you liked carto's and dripping .. I would recommend using a carto tank .. its a simple concept!

The cartomizers can be purchased with holes punched in them so that the filler material will constantly absorb juice being supplied by a surrounding tank. You can also punch holes in normal carto's if you have a particular favorite, lots of people go this route when setting up a carto tank.

I also recommend a tank from ibtanked! You can pick your own colors and they have some neat combos!

As far as the carto .. I would suggest a 45mm Boge carto. They are pre-punched with 2 holes.

A 19mmXL (taller tank) or 19mm will work perfect on most smaller vv/vw devices and a 45mm carto is required for that tank. Both cartos and tanks are offered in XL(taller) or normal make sure you pick the right ones when pairing em up. Ibtanked has a bit more information on tank sizes and carto compatibility.

Happy vaping

Will do, I checked out ibtanked but was very overwhelmed by the options at this time. I'd LOVE to get something from them as the colors and options available are gorgeous and plentiful but I just had no clue on the sizing and all that. Any suggestions?
I'm open to trying other items and I have a feeling I'll be ordering more stuff in the near future. I'd love some suggestions on where to find nice drip tips (is there a thread on that somewhere already?), particularly, I want one of those one that angles or rotates?
Between being able to still use my 510 attys and all that plus the two iClear 30's that come with the MVP's and the 4 pro tanks, I think it'll be a really solid cannonball into the pool. I can't wait to sit down and put it all together with my husband.
Thanks a million for all the help and advice, websites, etc. Made it so much less nail biting for me! You guys are the best! So glad I remembered I had an account here!

Yeah definitely! And that is why I made my post .. I saw a couple people mentioning Ibtanked and I know how confusing it can be at first glance.

Your best bet with them is going to be a 19mm Normal tank (as opposed to Xl which is taller off the top of the mpv). As I said before Boge makes the 2 hole carto's that I like the best and you would need to get a 45mm carto to fit the 19mm tank .. the only other choices you have to make after that are the fun ones :2cool: drip tips and what color you want your glass tube, caps, and O-rings!

You asked about a drip tip that angles or rotates. I have not used any so I cant make a recommendation but, they are referred to as "knucklehead" drip tips to the best of my knowledge.

I am planning on getting a VTR soon which is very close to the MVP. Can't wait to hear how the MVP vapes with the PT2, I have been looking at protanks since they launched as a skeptic! I haven't had much luck with other clearo's and the pt2 seems almost like the hybrid cross-over between carto and clearo tanks. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks

EDIT: I love lots of color options when shopping. check out these tips :D http://www.litecigusa.net/electronic_cigarette_drip_tips_s/167.htm

I think Mrs. Ts is running a good month or more behind on orders, so you'll probably have to wait a while on those. I can't link to the thread for some reason on tapatalk, can someone else do it?

I figured double the time warned on the website, so I wasn't far off! When I placed that order I figured I'd probably just forget about it and be suprised when it hit my mailbox :) Thanks!

My 3 main orders have shipped! (Everything but Ms. T's) Can't wait to see what gets here first!!! :D

Uh-oh regarding MsT's. She has fallen into ill repute around here and is no longer a registered ECF supplier. Quality has slid down hill according to some folks - like certain flavorings are some times missing from what used to be favorites. (Like ordering a Caramel Mocha and there's no Mocha in it.) And shipping times are horrid. Don't expect notice that that order will ship for a good five weeks. If you were planning on those liquids to be used right away as part of your back to vaping plan you may want to place another order elsewhere.

That thread was closed. The mod who closed it said it was only opened for people to sort out & commiserate about existing problem orders after MsT was de-registered as an ECF Supplier and her vendor sub form was subsequently closed. It wasn't supposed to be an ongoing "support" thread for new orders since she was no longer an ECF supplier.

looks like we were lurkers from when Grim was just using a 510!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same story with me Jenn, but i jumped in and got an MVP2, a couple of Kanger T3 tanks and an Aspire tank, and my old fav juices. Girl it is so much easier now without refilling carto's every 5 minutes, using the old drip tips that first came out back then. now you just fill the tank with 2-3 mils of juice, and vary your voltage or watts until you get the perfect combo. i just buy another full T3 or Aspire if i'm going to find a flavor that lingers, like the old days when we tried to wash a cotton carto????? crazy. so i have 5 tanks for juices from very light (fruity like Pina Colada) to very dark (kona coffee, chocolate) and then just grab a bottle of juice and the proper tank, affix to the MVP2 and go.
battery lasts about 3 days w/o charging, but i plug mine in to top off every night. can't go wrong with the MVP and a tank. Just my .03 to someone like me!!!!
