Need more information. Been to the ER 4 times in how long? Have you ever had anxiety attacks before?

I think my experience has been fairly typical of most - based on what I read here and on other sites. No anxiety attacks. Sometimes I get a little carried away when I'm testing a piece of new gear or a new liquid and over-vape. I sometimes feel some anxiety-like symptoms from over-vaping . . .for some reason I feel it most like a tingling in my fingers coupled with the feeling of wanting to do something but not knowing what. But this only lasts a few minutes at most and completely goes away once I slow down my vaping. I actually did this to myself last night testing out rebuilds on my pheonix RBA . .I was taking a hit, adjusting the air hole position, taking another hit, adjusting the airhole position some more, etc, etc . .well I probably took around 15 huge toots in just a couple minutes using 20mg nic. Got the distinct feeling that I needed to put down the PV and do something else for 30-60 mins, lol.

dropping from what to what? You can get your regular plus a zero and mix to SLOWLY lower your nic level. It's really easy to do, I did it to hubs and he didn't even know I did until he vaped 12 mgs at a shop and got light headed... lol No I wasn't being sneaky, I thought he knew that I'd ordered him the lower level.
Anyone have issues with this? It feels correlated to heavy vaping and the nicotine level I'm using. I get severe chest pains and can't breathe. If I drop down to around 6 mg it stops but that really makes me crave nicotine. I started taking zanax and it seems to help but even then I get them.

no I've never had any anxiety attacks prior to vaping. I also drink a buttload of coffee. I think it's maybe just too much stimulants sending my body into overdrive. The doctors don't know anything about vaping but they did just mention it is a stimulant so it could possibly be contributing.
Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm on your side. There's not much good going to come from trips to the ER if you don't tell the Doc EVERYTHING. They can only diagnose so much without complete information and even then they are still "practicing medicine".

Please consider confiding in the Doctor about your vaping.

I had this a couple of times when i started vaping, It turned out to be a combo of the ratio of the juice i was using (80/20) and chain vaping at to high of a nic level. I went down and use 50/50 now. :2c:

I had to cut back on Coffee when I quit smoking and started vaping. I got the shakes! That DID work. I do have an anxiety disorder and I can tell you vaping does not cause anxiety attacks for me. I vape a lot and i should probably drop my nic level as I just really enjoy all the flavors way too much. But I think that possibly, your anxiety attacks could be related to the anxiety of quiting analogs.

just my 2 cents:p

Night time mild anxiety attacks are what, in part, drove me to vaping. None since my 'bakky 'freedom'.

Sure hope ya can solve your issue! MAAs are not pleasant whatsoever!!!

Dude... this is not rocket science. If you are having anxiety attacks because of something you are doing STOP DOING IT. I know it sucks but it is what it is. Guess what? I can't take strong pain killers. Perks, oxys, etc... they just make me puke instantly. So when I get a broken arm or something I'm stuck with stronger doses over OTC analgesics. It sucks! But I don't continue to take perks and expect a different result... understand what I'm saying?

I don't know nicotine to cause anxiety but it can make you sick, and depending on your blood sugar levels if you take enough you could absolutely get heart arrhythmia, sweating, etc... all symptoms that anxiety attacks produce. So you could be confusing nicotine poisoning with anxiety attacks. LOTS of cigar smokers get sick from nicotine because they're used to smoking normal, mild blends and then they get a big, heavy, full flavored bad boy (some triple and even quadruple typical nicotine content of analog cigs per puff) and they get sick. They puff too much. So what you could do it keep it to one or two puffs per minute. You could make sure you eat something well before you vape, and vape with a nice cola or other sugary beverage to help keep symptoms at bay. SUGAR... not artificial sweetener. Or simply bump down your nicotine levels in your juices but you don't seem to want to do that.

Of course, if you say it's anxiety and the ER says it's anxiety you are very possibly having a reaction to the nicotine juice. It could be something either in the flavoring, the delivery system, something somewhere is giving you a bad reaction. Lots of people are allergic to PG but I don't know if it produces anxiety symptoms. Its either nicotine poisoning (which would mean you could still vape you just have to alter your technique and prepare properly) or it's a bad reaction... either way I'd bet a doctor would advise you to stop vaping if it's making you this sick. You should go see your family doctor who knows you a bit better and tell him what you told us, he might run some bloodwork to see if you have an allergy or something.

Please take the time to read through this long thread and let me know if anything sounds familiar: Caffeine Allergy/Intolerance - Allergy - MedHelp More research info here: http://caffeineevaluation.blogspot.co.uk/

Long story short, I was in the same boat it seemed (despite superb blood pressure, EKG, echocardiogram, and blood test results). I cut out all caffeine and haven't had a single symptom since. I can vape any mg all day. To confirm that it was caffeine I went several days vaping on omg only and still had symptoms. Half a cup of coffee though and bam. This after drinking a ton of caffeine for decades. PM me any time.

I had this problem when I was using a 50/50 mix. I went to a 70PG/30VG mix and it helped. I also have severe COPD and the VG was giving me a really heavy lung and chest feeling. Kinda like I was drowning. Also have sleep apena so that doesn't help matters in the lest. When do they happen? What was going on before the attacks? Learn to blow out the candle when you breath out. Inhale for 3 seconds and exhale with pursed lips for 5 seconds. Go to a pleasant place in your head. Tell everyone around you to leave you alone for a few minutes. I'm no doctor but it helps me sometimes. Not all the time but sometimes.

Please take care of your self. This is not the place for medical help. I get anxiety attacks too, some can be horrifying. Your Dr is where you should be if they are so bad to go to the Er.

Other than that, if I over Nic myself I get dizzy and nauseous. If I feel like barfing, it is time to back off. That is easy to ascertain.

yeah I was really nauseous too. Hm. Well I think I'm just going to stick with this 6 mg and tough it out. I don't want to give up coffee! I have been going to the doctor and the ER though. I'm just curious to know what other vapers think I don't think this isn't the place to go for that or that it's not beneficial to get some insight.
