Just as my title says... what could be going on ?

I drip my juice, on my Joye EGO atty and on the EGO T atty. Have tried the carts, don't like it, too hard of a draw and go through too much juice.

I have blown out my atty's , managed to only flood one once... what could be the issue?

I saw a thread on here about removing the flint in your atty if you are just going to drip, better taste etc.. can't seem to find it now though...ugh.

I miss the taste I got initially....... please help !! :)

Is it less of a taste, or just a different taste? One thing I noticed is that the longer I go without analogs the more things taste 'different' to me. I guess my taste buds are waking up, so now I wonder how I could have ever liked some of the e-liquid that I used when I first started. If the taste is diminished- then I guess I will have to leave that up to the experts to answer

There is most likely several things going on:
If you are dripping do you shake up your juice before using? Sometimes the flavoring goes to the top or bottom - depending on density
Your atty is breaking in more and may be running a bit hotter there by causing a little less flavor or different flavor
Your taste buds are getting healthier and things are tasting different then they did before.

I do find from time to time my juice seems to have lost it's flavor but it's usually about the time I start having sinus/allergy issues.

As always keep up the good work!

Your sense of smell directly affects taste, too! If you have a cold or allergies this can hinder taste. Once your taste buds and sense of smell are repaired you'll be able to taste again, and the results might surprise you. Things that tasted good before might not taste so good anymore or might taste even better. You'll probably encounter "flavor cycling" where you seem to lose your sense of taste again for a couple of days or so.

I had the same experience too! After a few days of dripping, I was then getting an odd kinda metal or chemical taste. I found that blowing out your attys every night before i goto bed and stand them up on a paper towel over night. Then every few days or so I rinse them out with hot water and let them dry over night as well really helps! Also as someone else said, shake your juice bottles before use as im using a PG/VG blend. I also tried removing the fibers out of one of my attys and I did so sucessfully though I really dont see the difference! Try Youtube for vids on removing the fiber/wick if you wanna try that! =)

Hydrate and keep chap stick on hand.
IF you were/are a smoker, keep in mind, your brain will try to play tricks on you. If you are/were a smoker, then you have probably been smoking for a while, and that cigarette is a long, old friend. The ecig is there to keep you away from that friend - and your friend and your mind doesn’t want that.
I sound crazy, but it is true.
You will think things are not working - or the taste is fading - or this just isn’t the same… any excuse to see your old friend again. Just stick with it. Just remember your old friend wants to kill you, and you have to put a restraining order out against him/her. I know you love her, but she/he is no good for you. You can only say you fell down the steps so often. Stick with the ecigs. Turn it into a hobby – that’s what I did. Started mixing formulas and stuff. Taste Changing – no problem – make a new batch of something and try it. Take your mind off the Cig. It will take a little while but everything will level out soon enough. If you have OCD – Now is the time to kick it into High Gear!!!

Funny thing is that I have ZERO desire for a real cigarette now... even if it keeps tasting yucky I will not go back... I would grab the patch or something....ugh...
I don't have allergys or a cold... I think maybe I have not been using enough juice and I have not been shaking my juice bottle... so I will try doing that too next drip. Maybe all my flavor was on top and I have used all of that up now LOL Maybe the rest of the bottle will suck now hahahahahaha

is it possible that you were enjoying the flavor of the primer mixed with your juice? New atomizers have a primer liquid in them that most find unagreeable, and clean out before using the atomizer. You might have been tasting that in combo with your flavor. Also I found after a few days a little gunk will build up on the coil, and that can start to taste bad, or just change the taste. Have you tried cleaning your atomizer?

This may help...may not but... When I first started some juices were good, and some were terrible. Now it is the other way around. Til your taste, smell and all other senses come back you will have to experiment with flavors and even the strength of the juices. I have noticed the lower nic level and or the combo of pg or vg has an effect on flavor. I know it will sound discouraging at first but the main thing is not to smoke the analogs any more. Try some strong flavors to start like cotton candy or that type orf flavors. Then try some mild tobaccos. I now go with cartomizers and the tank pretty much exclusivly. No dripping or carts with foam. My flavor and th and vape is right where I like it. Now all I do is buy and try new jusices and keep a supply of tanks and cone attys. The tank is going to phase out the cartos too, til a better system comes along. Dripping is ok, just not for me any longer, simply for the ease of not having to drip.

He does sound nuts, but it is absolutely true...If taste is a big issue, I would try bluemistvapor.com I liked the flavor the quality, I actually got a nicotine buzz which I haven't in a few days of the headlines stock brand BS and everything is just better...It's amazing how much better there juice is then what I was going through and I just fell in love with the e-cig all over again...I'm starting absolutely resent the real cigs now..Keep at it, it really is a trial and error thing

I drink gallons of water everyday...always have, so the drinking part has not had to change for me. If you blow on that end does it now spit back at you any juice you have in there left over ??? Kinda scares me to do that...

No, take the atty off, put a paper towel at the threaded end, and blow. It will not blow back.

Exactally...I take off the drip tip and take off the battery, hold a paper towel to the thread end (where the battery would go) and blow where your drip tip would go. Have to do it a few times till all of it is out. I think that maybe any left over juice in there may be going bad and causing a funky taste. Also i rinse in hot water uner my tap and blow it out on a paper towel then I let it set on a paper towel over night in an upright position. By morning its fine and tasting brand new to me. I use the DSE801HP btw.

1. If you keep using the same juice you can get used to the smell/flavor until it's almost like it's not there. Try switching juices for a while then go back to the Cappucino

2. Remember to let your nose have some fresh vapor - most of juice flavor is aroma since the tongue can only sense sweet, salty, bitter, sour and umami (MSG)

3. If you have been vaping constantly the atty may need a cleaning. I don't vape constantly and need to clean attys weekly to get back a full amount of better tasting vapor

4. If you are vaping 100% or high PG juice w/ nicotine it can make your tongue sore and a bit numb - probably not good for taste buds

5. drinking alcohol dulls your taste as does drinking hot drinks (tea, coffee) for me. Drinking ice water seems to refresh my sense of taste
