So to start off, I got into vaping with a Blu ecig (no jokes please.... I learned quickly).
Needless to say that didn't last long. My parents were already into the totally wicked stuff. They started with basic kits, and eventually started buying the tank system.
Currently I use the tank system, since they buy in large quantities and it is just "easier" that way.
But. It. Sucks. My atomizers last 1 week max at full strength. Some end up with the "burning" taste that I have read so much about. Others are fine, but after a weak I just can't get a decent pull. I have to seriously pull as hard as I can to get even a decent plume. I have done a lot of reading on these issues, and have tried cleaning them, trying to rework the wick. I either don't get it, or it just isn't working.
This is probably partially to blame on my need for high VG liquids. I have tried many liquids (the one thing I have spent serious time trying and buying with). Anything with more than 30% PG just hurts my throat, and not in the good 'throat hit' way. It makes my throat horribly itchy and painful.
What I use now for reference:
Totally Wicked Tornado Tank setup
Standard batteries it comes with (650mah - lithium)
LR Tornado Tank Atomizer
Basic tank with the puncture cap
ANYWAY, onto my questions
*What types of atomizers can I put on this battery type that wont clog/burn after a week. I think a lot of the issue is these atomizers suck.
*I like the tank system, nice and easy, but I don't like blowing the aty out and wasting liquid all the time. Is their a dependable tank system out there? Should I just switch to a carto?
*Should I just switch to an APV? If so is there any APV that uses common atys (so I don't have to rewind one myself), and has an automatic feed? I have been considering a Reo, Pavari, Zenesis etc, but I don't want to deal with winding my own coils, and EVERYTHING seems to ALWAYS be out of stock EVERYWHERE. I don't need variable voltage, but if I am going to spend the money I want to get it right, so I mine as well.
*I have been through so many explanations and reviews on APVs and I get what they do. I am an electrical engineer also.... so I understand the theory 100%
. But DAMN if these people don't make everything as confusing as possible. Does this kit come with an aty? Do I need to grab a battery elsewhere? Does the liquid wick in, do I flip it upside down and squeeze a bottle, is it automatic?
Help? Please excuse my incredibly long post... I tried to be as detailed as possible. Also, I did read the FAQ, I have done my research. I just want some input.
