Amazon.com: Motorola Micro-USB Home and Travel Charger: Electronics

The price is fantastic and 4 stars with over 400 reviews is pretty good, I think. I just want to make sure I'm getting the right thing before I buy it.

It's 5.1V - 850 mA and 0.2 A. I'm not 100% sure if that's what I'm supposed to get. I know someone said that 2 amps is what I want, but is 0.2 A the same thing?

Thanks, y'all. I'm useless when it comes to this lingo.

Okay, it turns out I've made basically this same post before, I must have looked over it when I did my forum search.

It seems like the general consensus there is 5v 2 amps is perfect. I'm just looking for something that will make it work like a regular ego battery without making anything explode. I'm just a little lost now with conflicting information.

not sure about the mah on a power supply. mah is a battery rating milliamphours i believe. the amps is the important part it needs to put out 2 Amp or 2000ma on the port you want to use. i know wallgreens has some cheap ones that are 1 A i only have one PT and don't use it that much partly cuz i dont have the right wall wart wither. if i use it in my car with the 2A car adapter that i believe came from GV it works great but on every other thing i try it on (comp) it is wimpy. i haven't tried the 1A ones from wallgreens they might work ok
i'll try and look and see if i can find one that looks good lol

If you have a plain pass through, no inline battery, Walmart online has the iq dual usb 2 amp power supply, which has 2 amp total output. Just under $10, free shipping if you have them deliver to a local Walmart, they work well.

I guess I'll just go with the one the peroxide queen (erin) posted. I have a $6 amazon gift card balance, so I was hoping to find something that amount or under  I know, that's too low to get something good in most cases. I also have Amazon prime with free 2 day shipping, so I wanted to stick to that. Still, that's not much more so I'll go for it.

Thanks!

On a true passthrough 0.2 will not work. A true pt will pass through the usb nominal 5v to the connector.

0.2 is also very weak for a fat battery. If you are using a 650 mAh or above you generally want at least a 400 mA Usb power supply, and larger does no harm.

Mark you got it! anything like a piper that doesn't have a built in battery has to have the higher current. with mine if the port doesnt have enough power (which most dont) it will just blink the light and not fire. i got like 13 ports i can use on my desk and it only works on one or two and thats so wimpy its not really worth it.
