beginner looking for hookah vape device suggestions!!

hey everyone, i'm a beginner vaper .. i've previously been using a bunch of garbage $30-40 systems that i've bought at local headshops.. i've literally gone thru 4 of them by now (they break so easily), and i'm done with spending $$ on something that's crappy and will break in 2 weeks anyway..

i'm looking for something that is reasonably priced, has long battery life (i work at a computer and vape pretty incessantly lol) but most importantly, i want something that is somewhat discreet.. something that i can easily stick in my pocket when i go out to the bars or whatever, and not have people/girls look at me like i have 10 heads if i were to pull out one of those GIANT vape systems that are on the market.. typically i've used something that looked a little thicker than a pen, but only got *okay* hits off of it, and the battery life didn't impress me much..

can you guys give me any recommendations on what to look at? something portable and not monstrous, has a good battery life, won't costing me an arm-and-a-leg.. my buddy recommended me the "iclear 30s" but i really don't have anybody else to base my opinion off of so i was hoping you guys could help! thank u all so mcuh!

You could look at an itaste vv3 (pen-sized) or an MVP2 (box-style) (both Innokin products). Anything with a 4-5 ml tank on it isn't going to be discreet, but they both have pretty good battery life (the MVP wins here), and they're also pass-through with a micro USB connection. You could use it while keeping it plugged into the PC (or car) while you're working and then have 800-1300 mah respectively to keep you going for when you're away from the plug. So long as you're not pretending to be a dragon, you can still be pretty low-key at the office. They're both variable voltage and wattage, so you get a nice swath of power range from them, and they won't cost you too much. They're not "wow, look at this shiny thing" gorgeous like some mods, but they're both respectable tools that get the job done.

Just one man's opinion.

cheers.

Another more gimmicky feature of the MVP is that it has USB power out so you can apparently charge your phone from it if need be. Don't know of anyone who uses that regularly…"hmmm, vape or call 911?" but it's there if needed

I like my SmokTech Ace...it was about $65 at a vape shop in my town. I replaced the tank with an iClear 30 with the swivel drip tip. It is a bit thicker and longer than an kgo vv. I like it because of the variable voltage and the battery lasts me a few days. I seem to always get good flavor on it until the last few before the battery dying. I highly recommend it because it is super simple, a good price, durable, and the vv.

What's your opinion on the iclear 30? I've been thinking about ordering a couple for me and my fiance. He's still using the kanger evod tank we started with.

I personally like it. With the atomizer on top, I find that it is a lot easier to check to see if my wicks are burned to the point they need to be replaced, as opposed to having to take apart and dealing with juice with a bottom atomizer. (sorry if my explanations are "incorrect", I'm still new to vaping and terminology and ask my husband about a lot of it)

That's a good point, knowing when the wicks need to be changed. I've only used bottom coils. I've liked them so far, but have hadva couple of problems here and there. My biggest reason for not wanting a top fed wick is having to kinda tip your tank to get the wicks wet with liquid. But I'm sure that's not too big of a hassle haha.
