Just did 9 wraps on 2mm, dual coil, istick 60w reads 0.35 ohm, almost as much as steam engine said. Vapor is warm just likę I wanted, but has a weird metalic taste, that appears to be fading. Pretty happy for my first build.

The warmth of the vape is dependent on the wattage, not the resistance of the coil.
Did you dry burn the coil before you wicked it to get rid of the residue? Do you know if the tank has had a thorough clean? RTAs and RDAs will inevitably be covered in machine oil from the shop where they were manufactured. Both these can give a nasty metallic taste.

Hey, I'm getting bellus from a friend in a couple of days and he will leave twisted kanthal coils 4/5 wraps ohms out to 0.24ohm. I'm going to use it on istick 60w. Should I just keep on using them or should I try building something else? It is going to be my first rta.

As you use a coil the ohms will slowly go up.

I use Kanthal and build to .8 ohms.

When the wick tastes nasty remove the wick. Dry burn the coil and rewick.

My coils last 2 1/2-3 months. When the ohms rating goes over 1 ohm I know the coil is tired and needs to be replaced.

The Bellus is a beautiful tank with some of the most pleasing swooshy airflow out there. It excels as a flavor tank, and I think it deserves a Clapton build. I have a 24G NiCr80 wrapped in 36g KA1 build in mine now. 5/6 wraps over a 2.5mm bit gives me about .35 ohms and it sings at 55watts. Just an outstanding vape, thick dense vapor and flavor. It's so good my wife stole it from me and finally quit tobacco, where as I've been cigarette free since 9/1/15. That's saying a lot.
