Best 18500 Battery for DNA Mods?

I recently got an A-Mod ZNA Lite clone to test out and see what it's like vaping with a dna style mod.

Anyway, I bought a Purple Efest 18500 battery to use with it, but I read a review earlier tonight that recommended against using those batteries, but with no explanation why. I do have an older AW IMR 18500 battery, but I doubt that's as good as the Efest battery.

So what would be the best 18500 battery to use with this mod?

The AW 18490 IMR has 1100 mah and a 16.5 amps continuous discharge rating (15 C).

The purple Efest 18500 IMR has 1100 mah and a 15 amp continuous discharge rating. Knowing how Efest often over-rates their battery specifications, the AW is the clear winner.

EDIT: just checked the AW battery i have, looks like it's the one you guys are recommending. a rare moment when i actually already have something i need.. lol.

i haven't used it in a couple years, so i wasn't sure if it was still good.. but i just checked the voltage, and it was at 3.52V, so its in the charger now.

I am still using a pair of AW 18650 IMR 2000mAh batteries in my rotation of six batteries, which I purchased over two years ago when I bought my first 18650 mechanical mod. They are just now starting to show their age.
