Hi All
I'm new and have only tried two of the 555. Smokeless Image - Loved it at first (the nuttiness fantastic) then got a 30ml bottle and the taste seems faded somehow. Also Elixir's 555 - the flavor is really lacking.
(My first filled cartos from SI were amazing and very aromatic they became addictive now I want more)
What are your recommendations?

I like AVE 555 so much that I start thinking I need to place an order when I have less than 200ml on hand.

It isn't like other 555's though. I can't detect much if any nuttiness. It's a sweet tobacco flavor. It's more like a flue cured than a 555 as far as my palate can tell... I could have taken a quick picture of the box of empty 100ml 555 bottles to strengthen my point ;) It's *that* good.

I can tell that this thread is going to cost me money. I've been vaping Spring Vapor's Black Label 555 and I like it a lot. I love the nutty flavor, which is something I never thought I would like. In fact, I have avoided tobacco juices that were described as "nutty". How wrong I was!!

Now I'm on the prowl for the "perfect" :)unsure:) 555.

I wouldn't put Frisco in the 555 category. I detect way too much toasted flavor in Frisco that would take it out of the 555 category for me. But if you were going to try Frisco, this is a good week for it; I'm pretty sure that it's running 30% discount off right now.

Huge fan and second vote with Six for AVE's 555.

+1 for the spring vapor 555. It was sent to me as a sample with my order & all I can say is i think i found a replacement for ry4 flavors. I thought his black label b&m was great and this is equal to it. Check out the thread in the suppliers forum & there is a 20% off code til the end of august.

Cool beans. I was not aware of that coupon. Thanks for the tip!

Sorry to hear that about the AVE 555 for you as I was one of the recommenders of it.

I'm about at the point to stop giving and getting juice recommendations. I can't tell you how many I've gotten that others just raved about and I thought they were nasty.

Thanks for the suggestions.
Now I've tried AVE's 555 and found it has very little flavor...disappointing.
I'm waiting on my order from Spring Vapor. Also got the B&M to try
I also ordered a big bottle (50ml) of Dekangs for $10...lol. I think it might be comparable to Liquid Volt's

Please let us know how you like SpringVapor's 555. What nic level did you order?

I've got a bottle of their B&M too, but haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I liked the Spring Vapors tobacco's I tried, so ordered the sample kit. I can't remember if the 20% discount worked on that or not? I have tried others but for some reason they are my "go to". Plus Nik is a really nice guy and actually has phone hours listed on his card. I don't have anyone I know to help me with all the stupid questions that come up, he was gracious enough to do so.

Good luck finding the one you like best, I know it such an individual thing. But I was glad to see that other posters liked the Spring Vapors also. Maybe save me money continuing to look when I know what I have seems to be popular, I like the vendor himself, and he gets me what I need within 3 days of my order unlike another vendor that took 10 days!

My bottle was just born on 8/22 so I probably should let it steep for a week or so. My initial impression is a light tobacco slightly sweet. Kind of "fluffy" if you can understand that. Not bad at all but it lacks that nuttiness of typical 555's. I'll see what it becomes. I have not tried the B&M yet I'll let that one steep too.

I see Mountain Oak Vapors has a Smoky Mountain 555. Has anyone tried that? I'm close to getting an MOV sampler pack and this one is in there.

The sampler is very worth getting. Mountain 555 is good, but you might find something you like better. I would have never tried Blue Ridge, a blueberry tobacco. But it has become a favorite of mine.

Their RY4 is also very good. In fact all of their tobaccos are complex, yet simple. If you like one, you will probably like most.

Thanks for the follow-up. I like the concept of liking an entire line that have similar characteristics. I see they use one of their flavors (Smooth & Mild) as a base to make a number of other flavors. MOV looked like that and that's what caught my attention. That's how Johnson Creek is too. I was also intrigued by that blueberry stuff. Read the reviews and the hardcore tobacco guys were really surprised by it. It has my attention and I'm not a fruit lover by any stretch.
