kangers are horizontal coil. there are others like that, like the bloog, but they are a little different from each other and tend to work a little better than vertical coils. the bloog type seem to be a little better quality made, but i really enjoy the kangers.. i havent yet tried boge carts but they seem to be a favorite of people as well for 808'

Horizontal coils are where it's at for 808s. Most except V4l have switched over. The Kangers are nice too. Make sure if you purchase that the vendor specifies horizontal. There's still some of the old vertical style floating around. Smokeless image, bloog, Elite vaporworks all use similar horizontal coil cartos as well.

If you want more battery, the echo is an awesome upgrade that is an automatic and comes in 650 to 1300 mah. They come with 3ml cartos that also use the horizontal coil.

Basically with the horizontal coil, the coil is at the bottom of the carto instead of halfway up. It eliminates a lot of the dry burning and need to top off as much. There is also a tube inserted instead of just wrapped filler with a hole. The tube improves airflow for better vapor an flavor. It is enhanced without the need for lr cartos.

charlz sir,, ive noticed your posts and lots of similar opinions from you for a little while now.. i have a few manual 650' that im lovin right now. im just curious an was apprehensive about what the draw would be like on a auto 650. i hadnt even done the xl 808' but i definitely notice the difference in draw from a shorty to a standard size in general. i see that people love the echo so i assume the draw must be fine. still though, something makes me avoid it...

I think this might set your mind at ease about thedraw on the Echo...

I disagree, they are simple to find! My fave store for echo gear is mountain vapor. Dennis will hook u right up. It is the echo-e. u may change your tune if u try the echo auto. It is so responsive it's like a fine lover! I'm loving my echo as it can rock the ce2's I've grown quite fond of. Specially now that I know how to mod them to perfection w no leakage.

It's got one of the best auto switches I have used. Draw is very smooth. And the horizontal coil design lets you adjust it by either fluffing the filler up or packing it down. It has a five second cutoff which, for some reason, does not matter too much. If I have a dying cart, and do manage to hit it, there is no wait time. It's ready to fire up again before you are done exhaling. I usually hit the cutoff on slim batts and always had to find ones with 10sec cutoffs like V4ls.

These things just seem to fit nicer in the hand without the manual switch and I dig the ability to vape with my hands full.

This is a great thread hijack! lol. Cropduster 901, Northwest Vapors is one of my favorites, Mtn Vapor and Smok Tek are all good sources of the Echo.

The echo thread is a great novel to read when you have time. Good timeline from when the echo first hit the streets to now. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/189567-echo-thread.html

The OP wanted cartos for 808. What's everyone using for 808 cartos these days?
