Svd is a killer mod for the price. Id go for that hands down. A few people have had success with the lambo v6 and its 20 watt capability but it has a lot of flaws. SVD is the way to go

How durable is the svd? I have heard people say that the evjc is delicate so I would use the svd on the go.

The SVD is a great unit - I actually prefer it to the evic (to each his own). Not sure it's going to get you more wattage, however. I believe they're both rated at 15 W max. You'd be looking at one of the DNA20 (or 30) devices to get more. How you would need more than 15 W in a regulated mod is still a mystery to me - I cap out at 10 W for my vaping needs when not subohm'ing.

The evic maxes out at 5v(don't know the wattage equivalent off my head) so it has a lower watt limit some people are saying that having the ability to go past 5v is helpful with a dual coil.

The Sigelei Zmax V3 and V5 Telescopics are fine rigs. There are a few left here (body only) before they sell out again.

Mods

Varitube is good for the Sigeleis, too.

V3 and V5 share the same performance parameters, basic electronics and mechanical features. V5 has the cell phone charging accessory which attaches to the 510/eGo connector. The cell phone charger connects to the cell phone with a USB cable. The firmware for V5 is different from V3 because it has a ninth menu item for operating the cell phone charger.

Other differences between V3 and V5 are found in the OLED display. The display for V5 shows a battery symbol to indicate state of battery charge and a puff counter.

Both are fine rigs and meet different requirements for users.

Do you think the svd or zmax is more durable?

The most common failures with the SVD involve a weak 510 connector and the fire button. The most common Sigelei Zmax Telescopic failure involves displacement of the electronics inside the tube, which can be easily avoided by not over-tightening the battery tube.

The machining on the Sigelei is better, IMO. The 510/eGo threading is machined from one piece of stainless steel. Plus, it doesn't have multiple buttons and a screwed-on display.

Brandon just released the DNA30 board which will go to 30 watts - there will be a slew (ok, 5-10) of new mods in the $150 to $300+ range before too long - you will need to keep a very close eye out as these tend to sell out within 15-30 seconds after being announced (yes, this is an exaggeration, but not by much) I personally do not exceed 7.5-8 watts as I vape for flavor not clouds

I agree with the Sigelei Zmax. I am on my third (2 replacements) with the SVD. Switch problems and turns off by itself. I am most pleased with the Sigelei Zmax v3 and V5.

I've had terrible results with the SVD (2 replacements) . The Sigelei Zmax has been perfect. Both v3 and V5.
