When I began vaping I used only 801 attys for dripping. I have since discovered the 510. IMO the 510 gives much better flavor. They do run a bit hot but that is one thing I like about them. Also, your pv and atty combo is also one of those things where personal preference comes in. With all of the adaptors that are available now it is much easier to try different attys. Lately, I am really liking cartomizers and have great luck with the 510 and 801 cartos. Just find a combo that you like and keep on drippin.

Not here.
The 306 atty looks perfect. Cignot has them and they work on a 501 battery, so I think I'll pick up a few and give 'em a try.

I love cartos for liquids I'm sure I like, but I'd rather not waste them, or deal with cleaning, when I want to sample new stuff. Regular carts are a PITA and messy, therefore dripping seems the way to go for this particular purpose.

I just went ahead and pulled off my drip tip and seem to be having more success with a bare naked atty. I suppose I could drip and put the tip back on if it gets too hot.

If you are using a 510 you can drill out that plastic end where the hole is and make you own drip tip. it works. take the filler out if there is any first of course.

Ive used both 510s and 901s to drip successfully and no I dont hit the bridge every time but most of the time (i'm quite good! lol) but it doesnt matter if some misses; at leat it doesn't SEEM to matter to my atties :)
The 510s do run hotter than the 901s but thats typical - I dont have any 510s that ever ran cool lol.

If you are going to use the 306 for dripping do yourself a favor go on over to Avid Vaper : Electronic Cigarettes, E-Liquid and Accessories and get yourself a couple of Cisco LR306 atomizers. They cost a bit more, but they are worth every penny. They just perform better than any other 306 atty and, if treated right, will last longer also.
