I use HE4. They seem to come in lower than HE2 and Samsung '25. VTC 4 are excellent too. VTC 5 are the kings but many are fake and Sony are trying to stem the flow. Prices vary across the world. HE4 are always good value in the UK.
Based on my experience, my most used batteries are the Samsung 25R, LG HE2, and the Samsung 30Q. Not necessarily the best batteries but Ive always been satisfied in terms of price, performance, and availability!
I like my LG HG 2's. At 3000 mAh, the capacity is outstanding.
I think I paid $5.00 each from Orbtronic & they will give you the carrying cases for free.
Price range depends on your location in the world, as well as market availability. Here in Japan, a single battery would cost you around 8 to 14 US dollars.
Hello and welcome... I use Samsung 25r. Not to say they are the best battery out there. But they are very good quality and readily available at my local b&m for about $17 a pair.
LG HG2s - The average price is around $6 each.
Samsung 30Q - Average price is around $5.50 each.
There's not much reason to buy anything else for a regulated mod. For a mech mod the Sony VTC4 batteries are good, but the low mAh rating and high price makes them just average for a regulated mod. The Samsung 25Rs are the same amps as the HG2 and 30Q but they're 500 mAh less.
