The title pretty much says it all. I have read way to many post about cartos, but so many seem to warn against them with a 650mah battery. So is there a good carto for this battery. I am still using the standard carts that came with the kit and want to move up...

When these batteries die I plan on moving up, but want to get through them first (budget tight)...

I like the 2.5 ohm bauway topcoils but I know how to deal with them in a way that suits me. I take all the top plugs out and fill by dripping down the sides, then I only put the middle plug back in. Because of the top coil, I always use a mouth piece or drip tip on them to get my lips farther from the coil. They don't wick good enough for chain vaping so I turn them upside down and back up between rapid vapes. The only reason to put up with the hassle of these is because of the clean taste and they tend to last weeks.

I recommend trying a pack and also trying a pack of the 2.0 ohm boge to see which you like best. If you don't have a back up for your ego batteries, I don't recommend anything lower that 2 ohms for them. It'll probably work, but it'll shorten the life of your batteries.

My suggestion is to get some boge LR 2.0 and 1.7 XL smoketech single coils (resurrectors). Then, you'll be in vaping heaven until you decide to upgrade to a mod. Good thing is that those same cartos will work better at that time with whatever mod you choose. Except HV mods of course.

I have found the boge's. Where do you find the resurrectors so I can compare?

I live from check to check so I understand completely, but just keep in mind that things can fail very suddenly. I added an e-power to my egos as soon as I was able, and will pick up something else when my ego batts die. Just sayin'

edit: As ohms go down, current and therefore heat and vapor production goes up. Most folks like it, but not everybody. I tend to like cooler vapor so I'm usually happy with 2.0 to 2.6 ohm range equipment. You can compensate a little with the button by preheating a second or so on higher ohm stuff and letting off the button before finishing your draw on low ohm stuff.

One more thing that I wanna mention. You might not want to use sweet, fruit, or lightly flavored juices with the resurrectors. Those would be better suited for the Boge's at 2 ohms where these flavors are better suited for.

The resurrectors run hot because they are 1.7 ohms. Some juices won't taste the same and get muted in the process. It's better to use tobacco, menthol, and strong flavores juices in them.

Thanks, I have been keeping that in mind. I want a better vape than what I am getting with the 650mah ego, but with a budget in mind I have been looking at a mod of some sort with replaceable / rechargeable batts, but I do not want a plastic box to vape from and at the same time to do not want to have to pawn my car to get a decent mod... I am looking at vaping for two reasons 1 - to get off analogs and 2 - to save money.

It has already saved me a lot of money with the route I have taken so far and it is getting me off of the analogs (about 3 -5 a day now -- today only 3)... so spending a little on a decent mod just makes sense. I do not want to go back to full time analogs. Already starting in sample DIY juices and that is another saver, plus I am mixing juices to my taste buds and I like it...

Hope I answered your question with my last post.

Yep, sounds like the boge's are definitely better for me. I actually do not care for hot vapes or a lot of throat hit (a good throat hit, but not a hot one) - and I am enjoying a few spicy mixes I have tried through experimental mixing.

After 6 months, I still use eGos, RIVAs and kGos. I have used others, but just like the grab-n-go eGo type. Cheap, and they all use the same charger.

For cartos, I use 1.25 ohm dual coil from Hoosierecigsupply, 1.5 ohm dual coil from deejStuff, Boge 2.0 cartos, and C.C.V.'s 1.7 ohm Resurrrectors. The Boge 2.0 are good for about anything. Fruit, dessert, tobacco... I like the lower ohm for tobacco. It gives a better TH, and warmer vape.

I have had no trouble with the dcc (even the 1.25s) on my eGo.

I don't usually like my fruit juices with dual coil cartos but I do like them with the 1.7 cartos. They might be a tad better in the boge 2.0 but I like the size of the 1.7 cartos so much it's worth it. Maybe it's my imagination, but they seem to last longer than the boge cartos.
