Best cartridge filler

I am currently using the blue foam from strictly e juice. What is the best thing to use with my 510 blank cartridges. I want something that is known to be safe. The blue foam works, but i think it could be better.

I've never used blue foam. I use the polyfill that comes with the carts, only I do the highping cart mod. It works very well.

It's a removal of about 3/4 of the length of the standard polyfill material in the cart to allow more juice to fit in the space.

I just did what you suggested using the blue foam and it seems to work really well. Thanks for the advice. Now to try it with my blu cig. Maybe that will make them work better. Works well with the 510.

I really like the PTB (Lipton pyramid tea bag) filler. I can go much longer without having to top off the cart. Just don't overfill it, because it will leak everywhere.

Cutting the blue foam to about half it's original size seems to work beautifully for my purposes. Makes vaping that much better. Thx for all the replies.

Yup..

The basic functionality of the ecig is...

Battery provides electricity...duh
Atomizer uses electricy to vaporize the liquid
Cartridge holds the liquid.

The main "problem" faced by ALL ecigs, is getting the liquid to travel from the cartridge to the atomizer.
Efficiently.

let too much liquid get to the Atty, it floods and can't get hot. And juice leaks everywhere.
let too little liquid get to the Atty, then you get that burned metal taste, and can damage the atty.
It is a very delicate balance to get the right amount of liquid to the atty.


Most mods are meant to maximize the efficiency of the liquid travelling from the cartridge to the Atty.


And there are many mods. For me, I find the PTB to be the best filler material that allows the most efficient wicking.


Also, many people bypass that problem completely by Dripping.
Just removing the Filler material from the cartridge completely, and carry around a small bottle of juice with them. Drip a few drops directly onto the atomizer, replace the cartrige (without filler), Vape for a while till you notice the flavor/vapor decrease, then drip some more.

I have 5 packs of the blue foam coming and may try the ptb after I run out. I order all my supplies from strictlyejuice and johnson creek and have to say customer service is the bomb. I just wish I could find a way to get my blu cigs to work better, I love the way they look and how small they are.

You can try volcano atty's and carts or Joye 306a atty's and carts. I haven't tried volcano's, But I have heard they work really well on the blu. I did try the 306 and it produced a ton of vapor, but lost a bit of flavor.

All Blu and Volcano parts are interchangeable.

And I did find that the Volcano atty works a bit better.
The Bridge stands taller, and protrudes farther into the cartridge.

Bert, You are one of the reasons this has been such a success for me. I can't thank you enough. If the blue works after this order. I will have two Joye 510 starter kits and the blu starter kit and won't have to worry about battery issues.
