I've been wanting a bottom feeder for some time. I just saw the SmartBox Mini at smartvapes.com. It's only $30.00. Plus I get a discount for my first purchase!

Has anyone tried this? Is this too good to be true? $30.00!

Would appreciate any feedback if anyone has tried this mod. Also, any advice on any alternative, very cheap bottom feeders.

Never used one but I have an Altoids mod from there that I'm very happy with. If you buy the bottom feeder, it says you have to have a dripshield to make it work.

If you want an inexpensive bottom feeder, Old Goat builds some nice ones and he's $25. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...2-old-goat-3-7-bottomfeeder-sale-25-00-a.html Go to the last page of the thread for his email address or shoot him a PM.

Thanks for the heads up, I've been wanting a box mod and this looks like a good opportunity to get one! I've emailed Ron and hopefully he's not booked for April yet!

Is the Old Goat Bottom Feeder ok for dripping? I mostly drip.

I'm a little confused, are you looking for a bottom feeder or another PV to continue to drip? Bottom feeder's, (hence the name), are a bottom liquid feed system, (hence), no need to drip with them..... Maximum Vapors has both a 3.7v for $35 and a 5v for $45....if you are in fact looking for a bottom feeder.... If you go with one from Smartvapes, I would only suggest going with the XL model as the battery would last you longer in the day....

Well, drip wasn't the best choice of words. I've never used a bottom feeder, and I just want to make sure there are no issues with the juice getting to the battery or wiring. That's what I was getting at.

Sorry my wording was so careless. I could have stopped and thought about what I was actually saying instead of just throwing it out there off the top of my head. Nevermind.

For the money it is a clever leak free design with little to go wrong. Suffice to say that if I did lose it or broke it I would just replace like for like as it just plain works.

The only issue I have is the same I would have on any bottom feeder....finding the optimum atty.

So, you have the XL? Maybe you can tell me then, does it have an on/off switch? I don't see one.

There's nothing actually wrong with your use of the word drip.

Bottom feeders are dripping devices; the only difference is that the drops enter the atty from the reverse direction.

I know some people hate them, but I had a boge revolution v2.1 that worked well FOR ME. U can get them for less than 50 bucks. Comes with some cartos and a passthrough plus charger. Buy a usb car adapter for a couple bucks and its all u need. My first use was a 17 hour drive to Oregon worked great.

I can't stress this enough- don't drop it.
I say I had one because I dropped it one two many times and it passed to vape heaven. Most of the time it would snap right back into place though
