The afc on the Hellvape MD will bring you a very tight draw if that's what you want. If you want a restricted DL draw, it will give you that too. The MD's airflow system is one of the best I have seen! The flavor with a tight draw is fantastic! I highly recommend it! I haven't tried it with a loose draw, but I imagine it's good too.
It looks like a very adjustable air flow.
Is it close to plug and play or does it require lots dif

I’ve seen HV devices but never noticed MD until now.I’ll study it more.
I got a Grimm and it does a decent mtl but only after replacing the 510 tip.It leaked air and created condensation but I put in a higher quality that actually fit correctly and what a huge difference.
I got off topic but if Grimm does good choices on mtl tanks I would think MD is a good mtl tank.

I just got my FEV 4.5 and Coppervape Skyline.
Both are great tanks and will Mtl but I think the coppervape Skyline with included inserts has a bit more flavor and definitely does a tighter mtl with stock inserts.
Both have after market inserts that will tighten up air flow to preference.

Theres a reviewer on YouTube Klaus Jedelsky that seems to favor mtl tanks and shows some good ways to set up for max performance.
Todd reviews does good reviews but klaus explains everything he does.

Get a BD vape Precio MTL RTA (from Fumytech) then get a bunch more, and die happy.

Well, that's what I did, best and easiest set up RTA I have come across to date. Don't get me wrong I like variety including some drop in coil tanks.

    But, it is undeniably awesome.

So what Grim was saying in his review about flavour being muted is a non-issue? I know a few others have said it's a great tank on here.

Know nothing about Grim's review or his "flavor muting" issue but nope, I don't find the flavor to be muted at all quite the reverse! I have tried two different flavors in here, liked them both.

It is fairly rare for me to buy an RTA and after using it, immediately purchase like, 3 more. Plus spare parts .Without blinking It's a fantastic RTA. Also crazy easy to build.

But keep in mind this is my opinion. Not everyone is gonna love everything. I cannot warranty my statements so you'd have to get one to see. And I am no really able to say for sure if you will like it, but if you hated it I would probably buy it from your for half price. That's about the best I can offer. LOL.

I've bought and used a box full of attys over years and I still find myself with a Kayfun atty of various types most days. Right now, I'm switching back and forth between a Kayfun V2 and a Kayfun 2019. I still have hopes of finding an atty that kicks them to the curb. The rest of my purchases are in a cabinet along with my other vape accessories. It's all FDA survival hardware. I'll learn to like some other attys when the Kayfun threads are worn out and unusable. I'll continue to buy replacement parts and more Kayfuns as long as they are available.

Since you love the KF's, would you mind answering a couple of questions about them please?

Sure. There are lots of Kayfun fans on ECF. Post your questions

    Thank you!

I have three SVs that a dear friend gave to me. She is no longer living so I can't ask her about them. When she gave them to me, she said they were some special kind of Kayfuns. On the outside of the box, she had written Kayfun Lite Plus V.2, so I assume that's what they are, but they look different than my EH Pro KFL Plus. She didn't include any information from the manufacturer.

I stopped using the EH Pro KFL Plus several years ago because I hated the juice flow control and having to use the screwdriver to refill.

Would you tell me how the juice flow control works so I can use them without dumping juice all over myself?

What spare parts would you recommend I buy to go with these tanks and should I buy them from SV or is it easy to find compatible clone parts?

Kayfun Lite Plus V2 is a single coil rebuildable atomizer. It has no juice flow control as such. There are two allen screws on the bottom that controls air flow. If you screw them in a little, the draw becomes tighter and more juice is pulled into the wick/coil area as you vape. They are best used under 20 watts because the juice feed isn't designed to maintain wick wetting past the point. Most of us vape them at 10 to 15 watts. Over that wattage level you will definitely experience dry hits.

If you like the Kayfun style, the 2019 Kayfun Lite clone might be more to your liking.

...or a Kayfil tool (for the older models).

    Creme de Vape Kayfil Tool

I remove the airflow screws from all of mine (subjective preference).

I vape MTL, so I leave them in and backed out flush with the bottom of the coil deck. For DTL, I'd agree. Leave the airflow adjust screws out.

MTL here too, Dave, but my vapes seem to push some of the smaller air tanks past their limit. I think it's length. Mods with a 10 second cutoff? No can do (me).

Even with the screws out, I need to be conscious when using the KFLs. Clearly my lung capacity has improved dramatically since switching from smoke to vapor. :thumb: :vapor:

One day I decided not to inhale vapor. After all, nic is absorbed through the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat. I mostly do the MTL thing and just inhale slightly into the throat, hold it a second or two, and then exhale. I guess it's the unknown part of deep vapor inhalation over years of time that makes me not want to inhale any deeper. I still get the nic hit by inhaling shallowly. 70pg can be more irritating than VG, but I like the flavor characteristics of PG juices, even when it's unflavored.

    Thank you!

I've been very curious about the 2019 KFs and clones, but because of the sentimental value, I would love to make these tanks work for me.

I guess I could be misremembering, but I could swear I accidentally dumped the juice everywhere several times when I used the EH Pro KF Lite Plus a few years ago. Maybe it doesn't have juice flow control, but is there something I can do to not dump the juice? Maybe it happened when I refilled it?

Might it have been a V3 Mini? They DO have juice control (and I had some "issues" with that version).

I can see how this could come in very handy!

I love them. I actually put teflon tape on my fill screw, and literally never use it. I use the tool, and it worked/works like a charm for me.
