Not that it's economical or anything, but the njoy disposables hit like a train..better than any cigalike I've ever tried. I just don't understand why rechargeable kits don't perform as well. The njoy even has a squishy filter lol. I like to pick a few up when I'm going out for the evening. Like the blu kit, the njoy disposable could be a really good tool as far as getting people interested in ecigs.

Too bad the Njoy lasted me like 15 minutes. It was a decent vape too. I really liked the feel of it. Too danged expensive though.

Yeah, expensive and short lasting. Probably last for about 3 actual cigs I would say, which isn't practical at all. But man, that first puff lol. Amazing..and I just can't get over the squishy filter.

I think I sucked the Njoy dry with the first puff. Had a buzz off of it. I guess 18mg will hit hard when your used to 0-3mg nicotine.

I have a Green Smoke kit with all the flavors and to be honest; I really love this little thing but I don't recommend the Tobacco flavors. They taste NOTHING like a real cigarette. Instead choose the chocolate, vanilla or mocha flavor (depending on what the switcher likes). Personally I don't like the mocha too much because it tastes like coffee with milk and a tiny spoon of sugar and I'm a plain black coffee lover. :p
Oh; and MOST importantly they have to know that an e-cig (of any type) should be used in a totally different way than an analog. Otherwise they won't be satisfied with the nicotine delivery and may switch back. There is a thread about this in The ECF Library called "Inhalation technique with an e-cigarette".

I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. I've had a few that were hit and miss...probably not filled all the way, or they dried up. I'm a regular 6mg user, so jumping up to 18 while having a nice dark beer is a treat.

Just recommend a decent cigalike and let the process of switching start. My cousin and I both started with Blu kits, we both agree after a short while that it sucked...but we both got introduced to vaping this way and both of us are smoke free using Ego's now. Eventually they will make the switch if they can get over puffing on a battery as opposed to a cig. Let's be honest, the biggest hurdle for new vapers is getting used to the act of vaping and being different. We can all agree cigalikes kinda blow, but the majority of us started with them and are still smoke free after realizing the switch to an Ego or something bigger is the better option. I'm convinced failed vapers basically just couldn't get passed the fact of puffing on a battery and felt uncomfortable with it, so if a cigalike is what's comfy at the moment, so be it...eventually they'll dabble in an Ego and either end up comfortable vaping, or go back to the butts.

Most of the larger cigalike companies these days use the KR808D-1 model batteries, and in my experience those are usually the best. They have the most accessories after Ego and 510, and therefore the most options on pricing. Smokeless Image, Bloog and Halo are all highly regarded in the cigalike category for sealed automatic batteries. Sealed auto batteries are recommended, as juice can still leak out of a cartomizer and it will eventually cause a battery to break down.

For the more hipster crowd, I love Bedford Slims. Their batteries are unsealed, but they're also pretty cheap at $10 a piece. Instead of a fake ash cap or crystal tip, they have little light up mustaches at the ends. Some of their batteries were designed by local Brooklyn artists.

Check out white cloud. Their nicotine levels go up to 54mg. That's why everyone loves the njoy king, it hits hard cuz it's 45mg. You can also bump up your nic level with any juice using some 100mg base. That's what I do and I only use cigalikes now

For the DW, What would you say is your Favorite cig-a-like? She is DEAD SET on a cig-a-like, but I haven't found one and am tired of throwing money at something she does not like and won't use.

Tried White Cloud Mini, 510X, Njoy, and a couple of others. An EGO is too big and she won't even try it. Going to give up if I don't find something soon. I DIY liquid, and have gotten her to try it, which she likes the taste, but not the size of it, and an EGO is the smallest I use, most are lots bigger, so I have no clue on cig-a-likes.

Personally blucigs is my favorite cuz it's classy and has a nice charging pack. But for her you might want to check out the smokeless image volt which is reasonably priced and has color options for the batteries. Also check out vapor couture. More expensive but it's a slim styled e cig for women lol. I bought one for my girlfriend, she loves it

I can't verify this, but I heard 777's ladies signature line may be compatible with vapor couture's e-cigs. They sell blank cartos, but they won't match as nicely.

Burnie - If she's looking for a slim PCC, you may want to consider Innokins AIO starter pack. My mother in law used that for a bit. Other then that, I've heard good things about Smoov as well, but from what I can tell those are still another 808 D-1 brand. Could be something better about them though. If she wants a jewel tip, vapor4lifs has 808 D-1's with them. Eversmoke and South Beach Smoke have jewel tips as well, but their batteries are slightly different called 808 D2 and are harder to find accessories for.

Eroll is another option. Slick, iPhone like charging case and really small, mini e-cigs at 90 mah. I also ran across a company called Vaposs. Not sure what threading they use, but judging from the similar charging case to South Beacj, I'm thinking 808-D2. They look really pretty though. Not as expensive as South Beach either.

PM me and I'll send you my eRoll kit - if you promise to return it if she doesn't use it (yes, I like it that much)! :)

Have you looked at the ecab? I use that and my eroll predominantly. They both use the same atomisers which is useful for me.
The ecab is slimmer than an ego, but not quite as small as a cigalike. It has a 510 adapter available, so you can add other clearos etc.
It also has removeable batteries, which are tiny, and three charged will last me most of the day with heavy vaping.
The eroll is great for out and about, but you have to refill the tanks frequently, or carry pre-filled.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Apollo. I bought their standard starter kit which included a personal charging case, 2 batteries and 5 cartomizers. I purchased approximately $200 worth of cartomizers which lasted me about 2 months before upgrading to their "Extreme Kit" which was essentially the same thing but bigger batteries and cartomizers. Okay, I spent a lot of money on them but nothing compared to what I was spending on cigarettes ($150 a carton here in Australia). I managed to completely stop smoking on these and they were the reason I'm now today enjoying my MVP2 and buying an array of eliquid, tanks etc.

I understand the "Cigalike" mentality, when all you've been doing is buying packets of cigarettes and lighting them, the idea of buying batteries and wondering what will work with what can become confusing to the point of forgetting the whole idea and carrying on smoking. Apollo offer a money back guarantee and have quick shipment, they currently have a sale on all new starter kits (40% off) using the coupon code "clearance".

I gave my starter kit + accessories + unused cartomizers to a friend once I got my MVP2 and VV3.0 because he was of the same opinion, they just want something simple that they don't need to think about. They aren't frustrating providing they have a charged battery and cartomizers - the Apollo kit comes with a personal charging case that lasts all day with four slots for cartomizers. IMHO although "us seasoned vapors can see that it's a waste of money" take your mind back to when you knew nothing about e-cigs and simply walked around with a lighter and cancer sticks.

Lots of people can't learn by simply reading a forum or listening to advice, however well intended. The addiction to nicotine is so strong that it literally kills people. If a current smoker wants to "try" e-cigs, I'm all for them buying the most simple kit in the world, only then will they learn that "hey, this actually works but I need a longer lasting battery etc".

I have been smoke free for over 6 months now and gave up on "Cigalikes" - if it weren't for them I would still be smoking today. There is no way I would have bothered to learn about things like variable voltage / variable wattage unless I knew that e-cigs had the potential to enable me to stop smoking. I look back on the hundreds of dollars I spent on cigalikes as an expensive lesson, but the alternative is much more expensive.

TL;DR
Let any smoker choose whatever ecig they want, providing they come to an understanding that it is indeed possible to stop smoking using ecigs any money spent was worth it.
