Hi

I have been smoking through vaporizers for about 2 months and dont have much knowledge when it comes to all the accessories. I have a sigelei vmax v5 mod with an innokin iclear16 dual coil clearomizer 2.1ohm. Can anyone recommend any better clearomizers for me to use that are easy to get working and don't cost too much. I'd be willing to spend probably $30 on a clearomizer, I think I paid $4 for the one I have at the moment, Im just not getting much smoke from it,

Any reccomendations on which one and where to get them would be greatly appreciated thankyou

Really it's wattage that gives you clouds. Super low builds got populate before high wattage mods came on the market. These low builds were put on a mech which puts out the battery charge (nothing more) so to up your wattage you have to build lower. With high wattage box mods you can put in a net .8ohm dual coil, crank up the wattage and get some massive clouds with the right atomizer (generally tons of airflow)

Regular KangerTech AeroTank or the mega (authentic) would be my recommendation. Both can be had for around 20 bucks or less. Never a lick of trouble out of mine that wasn't caused by me.

edit: Oh, and I use the 1.5 ohm in all mine. With the authentic Kanger coils they average 1.6 ohm and as for the clones they come in anything from 1.2 to 1.7, I guess they think it is an average rating :) in any event the lower ohm coils come alive faster and to me give a quicker stronger hit.

ps: Does the higher ohm of the coil mean the more vape you get from each puff? or is it the opposite?

No.
Whether you get more vape really depends on how much power goes to the coil.

Wire gauge matters, but you don't see the wire gauge printed on the box when you buy replacement coils.
Thicker gauge wire can take more power per ohm; more power means more vape.

Your clearo may just be worn out ... any maintenance? I see that one's "rebuildable" but being able to take it apart is different from being able to fix it. Of course there are better ones ... but they also require maintenance. I tend to favor redundancy over trying to get one ultimate device, like several flavors ready to go and spreading the strain over several devices helps.

Been to long since I bought any to recommend some one. I have bought many many tanks on eBay though. Thing to watch in the adds there or anywhere is the words "authentic" and "genuine" and only in direct reference to the brand name. Stay away from the words "style" etc. On eBay anyways you will get a refund if they are selling fakes and have claimed in the add "genuine" or "authentic".
I buy my coils through ali-express, they range .60 to 1.40 shipped depending on.................... "genuine" "authentic" or "clone".

Also might add, not sure how new you are to this but the price of buying clearomizers is a drop in the bucket so to speak when it comes down to the cost of vaping, for me more money has gone out the door for juices.

Dont forget about the highly underrated Iclear 30S. That was the first tank i got and i have had a dozen different tanks since then, and oh boy for the price it is by far still one of my favorite clearmoizers. It costs under 20$ and the coils last alot longer than you would think. I do have a Kanger genitank mega and i do like it, it has nice air flow and the new 1.5ohm duel coils are nice.
