Best clearomizers for eGo

I know there are better devices out there but I have grown accustomed to using an eGo battery from Apollo. It's lightweight, smaller than most mods and has a strong battery life. I am not as impressed in the clearomizers I have been using. I have tried the CE4 and CE5 (what a nightmare cleaning and switching atomizers, and the change to a new atomizer never worked like a brand new clearomizer) and it seems hit or miss how long they last or how long you keep the flavor on them. Sometimes it's awesome for the life of it and sometimes it tastes like nothing or you have to move around the juice to cover the wicks. I tend to be a heavy vapor during the day and want something that works well that I don't have to mess with much. I just got an order of 10 CE4s online (brick and mortar prices make them a waste) and I'm already mad at them. Anyone have a better idea for a clearomizer? I tend to like to switch flavors often so I like to have a few that have juice in them. The CE4s tend to also leak if left unused for a few days.

Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks all.

CE's are top coil clearos. You might have better luck with bottom coils. My favorite is the Tabac BCC from Good Prophets (also heaven gifts) as their 'oem' coil is 1.8Ω rather than most 'T3's' which are 2.6Ω - too light for even my lighter flavors. The bottom coil and wicking causes less dry hits than the top coils but some people think that it is a cooler hit. With the 1.8Ω coils I don't find the hits 'cool' ;) The 2.2Ω coils are good for my lighter flavors. No leaks for me with this one.

The 'T3' is being replaced by the Kanger T3S which has a cheaper replacement coil and uses a base. The T3 has a combined base and coil. I still like the T3/tabac bcc best despite a buck more for the replacement coil - unless you buy bulk like I have.

Other bottom coil choices are:

Evods - much like the T3 except lower capacity (1.6ml vs. 3ml of the T3/tabac) and it has a metal skin - which makes it heavier and obscures the view of the level of eliquid except through at 'window'. The tank is still polycarbonate not metal. A few leaks and gurgling for me on this but there are some good youtube fixes....

MT3/MT3s - much like the evod but larger capcity - 3ml. This is the T3 with a metal skin - the metal is purely cosmetic and again heavier and less of a view of the eliquid than the T3.

Protank/Protank II - 2.5 ml capacity and larger in diameter than the eGo - looks top heavy but included in the package is a cosmetic adapter. Glass tank. The PT II has no glue, compression fitted, and a replaceable mouthpiece.

Mini Protank/Mini Protank II - glass tank 1.6ml stated capacity but holds about 2ml. Mini PT II has the same improvements as the PT II. It is the same diameter as the eGo and I like it almost as well as the Tabac BCC except I had to plug one of the intake holes to improve the draw. No leaks for me.

These are all Kanger products and there are knockoffs. I suspect much of the leaking reported are knockoffs or user error or the occasional 'lemon' you can get from brand name products.
