Regarding PEG, I read something about it on another forum so I did a little searching about the safety of vaping PEG and I found it almost impossible to find any information to figure it out either way.

It appears that the THC/CBD vendors and users really perpetuate the "PEG is dangerous" narrative because they are late to the game as opposed to the nicotine vaping market which has been around since about 2007 and thus has more users and cumulative experience. They also seem to have a real knee-jerk reaction to everything since they are more on the "medical" side of things than the nicotine vapers are since we are considered addicts of a "terrible substance" As such, they seem to have this propensity to be SJWs and white knights when it comes to vaping safety, to the point where it's utterly nonsensical and crippling (which is how it used to be in the nicotine vaping market as well, ans still is but to a much smaller degree). They seem to think they know it all, but they know very little compared to veteran nicotine vapers. Very little, and it shows in their communications.

Then of course, I read that the PEG manufacturers are completely against vaping PEG. I read that they supposedly refuse to sell their product to any company suspected of using their PEG to sell to vapers or to make finished vape juices.

So as it stands, PEG, to me, is till a huge unknown given that it's so hard to get real answers as to it's safety as an inhalant, way more so than PG and VG. But there are people here on ECF that use it.

Depends on the herb I suppose and its moisture content or whether or not you decide to moisturize it with VG.

Yeah I was talking about tobacco (mostly dry, like Dokha tobacco, but if the concept of vaporizing tobacco turns out to be promising then I'll be enjoying it in more than one way).

Also what's the point of moisturizing tobacco (or any other herb) with VG when it can't take on the properties of tobacco (the VG doesn't dilute)? The VG aerosol will not carry any tobacco flavor or nicotine, but will merely create more vapor, no?

I believe the VG would carry the flavor, it's just a matter of how long you let the VG combine with the tobacco. I have several VG/PGA extracts that I have sampled and compared to pure PGA extracts, I can say that the VG does carry flavor. However, we're talking about sitting in a jar for a year. But also it's not being heated to a temperature that a vaporizer would.
