These are what most people here start with from weakest to strongest

--- slim

Joye 510 manual and most use cartomizers with it (mostly blank cartomizers) and if you insist on it looking like a cig get a white one and get tan or white Boge 3 ohm cartomizers at NiteLiteVapor.us. Or you can get the black model and black cartos look good on that. A cartomizer replaces both the atomizer and cartridge with one filter-size piece. Cartomizers have limited lives but provide a good-as-new experience every time you start a new one. I can get about 10-days or about 20ml of liquid's of use out of a Boge.

KR808D-1 manual like V4L.com or the other style at smokelessimage.com/Bloogplanet/Halocigs g6 (plenty of prefilled cartomizers and blank cartomizers)

-- fat (everything from here down has much more charge AND can use the hotter low resistance atomizers and cartomizers)

Joye Ego or Ego-T
Riva 510 (the 3.7v kits at Liberty-Flights.com)
Kgo

--- mods

Variety depending on cost and desire

All need eliquid

It depends on what you are looking for in PV. Do you want something that looks like a cigarette or would it not matter? Do you want good battery life? Do you want the simplest setup or do you want to fill your own carts/cartos? How heavy a smoker are you??

For most people I would recommend a KR808 if they want something simple, that looks like a cigarette and uses pre-filled cartomizers. The batteries only last a couple of hours and you can only use standard cartos.

If you don't mind something larger, an eGo style PV is the way to go. They are more like a cigar in diameter. The batteries last 6+ hours (depending on size) and they will accept a wide variety of atomizers and cartomizers, including low resistance ones. The low-resistance attomizers/cartomizers will give a warmer and larger amount of vapor.

Simplest setup is an eGo with Boge 2.0ohm cartomizers and a drip tip. Since your located in london, search liberty-flights.

...this is hard to beat advice...I might say Riva instead of eGo because of higher voltage but it is close enough for the kinda women willing to date me(don't tell my wife)............

Hi again Karlos from another UK vaper :)

I'd also recommend an ego type e-cig plus some Boge cartos & good e-liquid. Have a look at Vape Escape, they really are one of the best most helpful UK suppliers.

The Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit [Ideal for beginners] £32.99 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Riva 1100 Kit Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

They have helped so many UK vapers on my forum All About E-cigarettes. I'm not affiliated to them or any other supplier, but when a supplier (quietly) goes out of his way to help someone in a very bad way, you can't help but take your hat off to them :)

Newcomers to the e-cig world love to ask for advise. But they've usually made up their minds to go for cigarette look-a likes. No one can talk them out of it. Been there, done that. I myself bought look-alikes before I went for an Ego. An Ego the size of an AA battery plus about an inch for the switch and connection thread. Adding a Boge carto to it it's not much bigger than a real cig. The battery is fatter, but that's how it is. It's a mere 650mah Ego and it's significantly smaller than the big mods out there as seen in videos and pictures. But the difference in battery life is about 3-4 times longer than cig look-alikes. Good enough to satisfy analog cravings.

The best, I would guess would be the cig that gives you the most battery life, juice delivery, and least hassle. Although there are certain aspects each type of setup addresses, the best battery would be the largest one you can find, preferably a LiFePO4 setup, probably with 2 batteries to give you 6v. (LiFePO4 batteries last up to 2000 charges and have a higher output, with reduced density, compared to a standard Li-Ion which gets around 500 charges). The next part is only best depending on your style. If you want to try lots of different flavors through out the day, stick with dripping. If you like to vape all day without changing or adding more liquid, get a tank, probably a Dual Coil tank.
