HHV - Heavenly Tobacco.

This is the only one that I am stuck on in ordering tomorrow.

Is this worth trying in a 15 ML size or should I just skip it.

Don't know what else you're picking up, but I bought the 6ml sampler. Dripped all of it in a few short hours. I'm going to try shadow and dragons fire again, for the first time in over a year, when I purchase tomorrow.

We tried the last of Thenancara. Paradisio. Yesterday was Shinshiro and earlier today was the Benedicte.

When I handed the Paradiso to my wife she said, "oh my gosh that is phenomenal. Tastes like Christmas ".

It is a toasted hazelnut with cocoa hints. I think it is wonderful as well. Thenancara line reminds me of finely crafted French liqueurs made by monks. You can just feel the quality in the ingredients. These are exotic and I doubt an ADV for many if any, but they are really tasty.

There is only one important Sale tomorrow and that is HHV but I am biased.

You know I do only get that taste in the high end ones....I have never had it in any "mid-level" ones, which I'm only referring to price here, because taste wise, I actually find these to be better, at least for me...I may have some I just don't like, but they don't have that specific BUT taste. Of course, there are still many I have to try, so I'll have to work my way through some more of them.

Lucky me, I can get/have gotten that BUT taste at EVERY price-point!

I agree^^^^^ Its strange and I also get it that with the "high end juices". That's what makes me gun shy on buying them again. Stuck with paying like $30 on 30 mls and it just sits on a shelf. I'm still temped on trying that pear almond one from Ripe Vapes but if it's too subtle like 5 pawns with the BUT taste, I'd rather pass.

Angi, I have the Pear Almond from Ripe Vapes, am vaping it right now as a matter of fact, and I can happily say there is absolutely no BUT taste at all! And no it's not subtle either...I get lots of flavor from it, but nothing overpowering. I find the taste very clean. It's probably the first high end juice I've really liked!

Pear Almond from Ripe Vapes is about the only over-priced "high end" juice I've ever had that is actually delicious to me: no BUT, plenty of flavor. Heck to me it's mostly pure marzipan candy! The only reason I don't vape it often is because of its high VG content (60%?).

For the HHV Sale coming up;

Just to refresh, the HHV tobaccos are more pipe blends, but they do have additional notes that make them winners:

Legend: smooth, dark pipe with cherry and other dark fruits (raisins, plums)
Serendipity (same base as Legend, but comes off more as coffee/black tea)
Heavenly ARMY: creamy tobacco pipe with notes of graham and hints of coco -- my ADV-can't-be-without-liquid
Shadow: same creamy tobacco base as HA, but with vanilla instead of graham -- tastes like a chocolate Bavarian Cream Bismarck
Huntsman: most authentic pipe, very earthy with notes of maple and honey and the colors of the forest -- a very Autumnal vape
Dragon's Fire: I didn't care for it. Tasted like raisin bran cereal to me; later on became more of a boozy plum
Temptation: dry tobacco with a smooth milk chocolate -- YUMMY!
Oompa: pipe tobacco with a spicy cocoa
Dark Horse: plain, dry, grassy cig-alike good for those cigarette cravings but unremarkable flavor-wise
Georgia Peach Tobacco (synthetic): juicy, natural peach with a light tobacco base
Vapin' Chimp: ripe, slight creamy banana with a synthetic tobacco base -- gotta love the banana

Those are the ones I have tried. Most are still in my rotation.

Oompa, Huntsman and Dragon's Fire all benefit from long steeps; most others as either good FOOB or only need a week (for me).

I never had this much trouble trying to decide on an order before.

I love Dragon's Fire, so that's a definite yes. The flavors hooked me at first taste. A big bottle is in my future.

Huntsman - I enjoy it so much more than I thought I would. DJ, your description is great. Colors of the forest. Yep, woodsy and almost smokey. But do I like it enough to need a bottle? Not sure. If I had both Dragon's Fire and Huntsman on hand, I see myself reaching for Dragon's Fire a lot more often.

Maple, Eh? - Why do I dislike this one so intensely? I don't even like the smell of it. Like some kind of men's cologne, and I can't get past that to taste maple or even tobacco. Sadly, this one is not for me.

Legend - Very pleasant, just like a cherry tobacco pipe. I like it as much as Huntsman. No, not quite. Maybe. Not sure.

Heavenly Army - It doesn't have the tobacco impact of any of the others I sampled. It's pleasant, but nothing wows me about it at all. It's not unpleasant, but I don't think I would buy it.

I'm still a little confused. The only sure thing for me, is Dragon's Fire.

I am finding your taste tests very ironic. You asked me once what my two absolute HHV favs were. I did not respond, and you nailed them after sampling. Dragon's Fire and Caramel Apple Tobacco are absolute must haves for me.

I am also very fond of Huntsman and Legend. Tomorrow for memory sakes, I decided to try Serendipity again since it might be good at times for a wake up call .

Decided to forego Shadow since I went into my Account, and I have tried it twice already. Have had no interest in Sludge.

As a point of humor, I also vaped Heavenly Army this weekend, and after six months it also did nothing for me. I then apprehensively loaded a tank of Legend wondering if it would be too strong for me and Loved It.

Legend was like a re-union with an old friend. I will be ordering more tomorrow.

Now I am thoroughly confused about Dragon's Fire. DJLEC, I thought you loved it. Then I read a post a couple pages back saying you (or was it somebody else?) think it tastes like Raisin Bran. There were two sets of descriptions in that post; was the first set yours? And Mia, I see you really like it. DJLEC, was that your opinion on Dragon's Fire? Mia, what do you think it tastes like?


It was on my list, then I deleted it, and now I'm second guessing.
