Cinnamon Girl - Stash E-Liquids
I do not like cinnamon vapes. Had to get that off my chest right away. Cinnamon juices over the years have always, in my experience been somewhat sickly sweet, overpowering and curse every tank and atomizer I've used by signing a marriage certificate with it. Good luck ever getting a cinnamon flavor out of an atomizer or tank. The Cinnamon flavor never leaves my tanks. If I loved Cinnamon that would be a nice perquisite but I've never been swayed by cinnamon I tend to avoid it like the plague.
The one time I my aversion to cinnamon was tested was when I tried a
juice called Sugar Bears by Cuttwood. It was better than what I would expect from a cinnamon vape, and didn't ghost my tank for all time, but the impression wasn't lasting and I've not since gotten a
juice with cinnamon anywhere in it.
But wait? I thought this was a
juice review? Don't write off Cinnamon Girl until you've tried it right? Right! So let's get on with it and let me put my prejudices with Cinnamon aside.
Cinnamon girl is most definitely a princess. She is the sister of Valhalla, a dashing Prince who lives amongst orchards of lime trees. Wherever Prince Valhalla picks up his divine bakery treats, his little sister Cinnamon Girl is also buying her bakery treats from the same place.
In Cinnamon Girl the first thing I notice is that warm rich savoury bakery flavor that puts me in front of a cosy oven on a cold winters night where the divine smell of baking bread or muffin or pie is emanating from. So one impression I get right away is that this is no ordinary cinnamon juice. There is no sickly cinnamon flavor and it is not really a dessert vape. Cinnamon Girl is quintessentially a bakery vape and like any bakery product it sits somewhere tantalizingly between a savoury flavor and a sweet flavor and encapsulates both.
The cinnamon doesn't taste like a cinnamon lolly or a cinnamon cake or a cinnamon cookie. It is more like a cinnamon bread or cinnamon pie or maybe a cinnamon muffin, that has come straight out of the oven which is warm and rich and a touch sweet. Josh has blended this one immaculately. It is delicate and the cinnamon is more an imbued flavor in what tastes like a freshly baked loaf of cinnamon pie or muffin. In that sense it reminds me of Valhalla and the cinnamon in Cinnamon Girl is part of the whole in the same way the lime plays part of the whole in Valhalla. Prince Valhalla is indeed proud of his little sister Cinnamon Girl. She has the same
Bakery essence as him and deserves her seat at the Royal table of fine liquids by Stash.
Stash is changing my tastes and preferences. I used to have an aversion to lime and citrus juices and I love Valhalla. I used to have an aversion to cinnamon and now I love Cinnamon. I get the feeling peanut butter is next..
