Glad the clearo didnt work, I dont like cinnamon liquids, and I dont like anise in anything. I dunno if it was the clearo at vape shop or what, but IMHO gambit tasted just like teryaki chicken

Damn, I've been really close to pulling the trigger on some Gambit so many times. The past couple reviews are def not what I was wanting to hear :(

Has anyone tried The Vape Tree? E-Juice If so, please give feedback.

I 've had 3 from them - Pinoy Punch (incredible - especially if you like mangosteen and pineapple), OurWHY4 (excellent synthetic RY4, heavier on the caramel versus the vanilla), and Banyan Tree (best in a dripper, like a earthy tobacco with powdered sugar, but in a tank it tastes like it has banana which I hate). Take that all with a grain of salt. :vapor:

Just pulled the trigger on an order from mt. baker wholesale. I ordered a gallon of 24 mg unflavored 50/50 base. Also ordered 8oz mbv razzle dazzle flavor. That way i can make other flavors w/ different diy flavorings if i get burnt out on razzle dazzle. I plan on finding pg in town to mix w/ flavoring and end up at a final nic percentage of 1.8, 18mg. Also plan on finding glass containers in town, shipping is as much as they are! I Plan on spending 20-50$ at most on containers. Altogether, $250- 270 for @ least 4800ml of juice... @ my rate of consumption, that's almost 7 yrs worth, longer if I cut my nic level down. Hope it keeps as well as DIYers tell me it should. Might even top botlles w nitrogen or C02 before sealing and putting in fridge just to eliminate oxidation. I had been thinking about doing this anyway to save $, but yorkiegirl is right, its preppin time for vapers....

I'm beginning to think five pawns ran a bad batch or two, but its pretty hard to believe that it spanned multiple juices. Grandmaster and Gambit didn't taste complex at all and the flavors were horrible. Queenslide was good, but not for the price.

hmmm blueberries, blue shirt, blue necklace, blue eyes... LOL what's your favorite color?

I hope you like the burley, post up on the Cavendish!

Haha actually it's a lavender sweater ;) I've had honey fig and cavendish steeping for awhile. Maybe I should try them.

I love Gentleman's Reserve, but the Blue Lagoon (coconut and blueberry) was a disappointment for it's lack of flavor. I've noticed that everyone who has had Tardis Blueberry loves it though so I might try that.

I'm super curious about Pukana La "a mixture of a tropical fruit breakfast muffin and a side of Kona Coffee" muffin and coffee is a combo I haven't seen before, but I want to see a review first.

I'm also super curious to see what the new reserve will be. I'd love to see an oak barrel bread pudding with brandy and cardamon, or something... maybe oak barrel, peach, vanilla, coconut, tobacco

I'm sure curious about pukana la as well. I really like the new reserve. I'll have to test it again. I find their reserves to be very heavy, only an after dinner vape or something. I can't imagine vaping it all day. But still very good.

Funny...I was just looking at that site tonight. I am thinking of buying some concentrated nic....just in case. The future of vaping in NJ isn't looking very bright down the road....:(

Did you try vaping it a low voltage?

I LOVE that combo! The one flavor I liked from HHV was their blueberry muffin. Tasted just a like a dunkin donut's blue berry muffin. Cinnamon sugar topping and all!

Same here! And yes, I always start at 3.3v :)

we'll all become ejuice bootleggers

I'm with ya there sister!

Been following this thread for a while as I'm not satisfied with my local selections...decided to spring for a five pawns sampler. So far I've tried absolute pin and Bowden mate. Absolute pin is absolutely amazing and I will be getting a big bottle at some point. Bowdens mate isn't up my alley but not bad either....reminds me of a mild, cool mouthwash. I know that doesn't sound good but it is nice and refreshing.

I'm going to be ordering some steam co. and CLS soon based on what I've read here...great thread!!!

I think you'll be pleased with those two companies :) I know I've been.

I just stumbled onto a magical mix.. Highbrow Cheesecake Torte and FSV The Nilsson. It's a Lime Coconut Cheescake and they are a perfect match for each other. Fantasmic!

Oooh. Just received the Nilsson. Did that need steeping?

Good for you. I've been actually thinking about dabbling in the DIY world just cuz of all the buzz again on the vaping world crack down. I can't seem to get down below 12 mg right now so I'd be screwed if I can't get juice and don't know how to make my own.

I just hate to think about some of the stuff I would create tho..probably some nasty tasting stuff until I got the hang of it.

I need your help guys.

As a smoker I hated the taste of cigarettes. I mean HATED. For all of the 26 years I smoked I had to have gum or a mint in my mouth EVERY TIME I smoked. However, I am thinking of trying some tobacco blends. I am looking for something that doesn't even remotely taste like a cigarette. Maybe a flavored pipe tobacco? Is this even possible? I have steered very clear of any juice that even hints of tobacco but after being here on this thread I think I may be missing some fabulous things. Is there hope for me? Any suggestions?

I've finally got a review of juices that no one here ever mentions, but I'm thinking they might not be bad once they have steeped.

I won a contest from MR Vape, and chose Chocolate Cheesecake, Peppermint Patty, and Key Lime Pie. They arrived yesterday, and have born dates of 3/05 and 3/04, so they are still pretty fresh.

Of course I had to try them FOOB. :)

Key Lime Pie is not too bad fresh. I can taste lime, but it still isn't quite ready, with undertones of what tastes like meringe. I think once it steeps, it might be quite good. It was pretty strong smelling when it arrived, but now that I've aired it out a bit, it smells quite good in the bottle.

Peppermint Patty has a cool feeling FOOB, and it has a slight taste of chocolate and a slight taste of mint. It had no scent or flavor yesterday, but this morning has a slight one, and a tiny bit more flavor than it had yesterday. It definitely needs to steep longer, but I think I will like it once I can taste it a bit more.

Chocolate cheesecake also had no scent yesterday, and only a very tiny bit of flavor. This morning, it is starting to smell good, and I think I can taste a little chocolate, and maybe graham cracker.

Their juices definitely need to be shaken and aired out, but I think they will be quite good once they have steeped. Even though they packed the Key Lime Pie in a separate zip lock bag, it's flavor was really strong when I opened the package.

Mine are 70/30, and they are in Protanks, which don't give the most flavor, so YMMV.

This is a company I probably will buy from again. They also have some really nice drip tips and things.

If it's made in an oak barrel, I wont like it. My family has a vineyard and winery out here, I dont even like our reserve wines(oak barrel aged)It's because I got sick way too many times as a teenager on whiskey, everyone likes it here but i cant stand it. just the smell of whiskey mad me gag from ages 16-25 or so, dunno how I got over it.

I'm the same way. I never got sick on it, but I hate the taste. I think I'm in the minority. :)

I'm the same way. I hated the tobacco in cigarettes, but the comments about tobacco and caramel, apple, vanilla, and other good flavors has made me curious.

Well, there are plenty of tobacco juices that taste nothing like cigarettes; cigarettes were and, I presume, still nasty. A good tobacco juice highlights the flavor of various tobaccos, not the thousands of other additives in cigarettes.

I don't think a pipe tobacco would work for a person steering clear of anything tobacco. :)

I haven't tried this juice, but considering the thread and your desire of a minty tobacco, here's a juice to check out: Mississippi Mint from Southern Steam. From reading reviews, it seems heavy on the mint/menthol, though. Maybe ask them before mixing to tone it down somewhat?

I have tried their other tobaccos and the tobacco is really far in the background; I think they would work well for vapers that are easing into tobacco vapes.

I would say you were a victim of something.
Frankenvape, Curious Jorge, and Cell Block Four are VERY popular with many. (I always follow the "safety in numbers" rule for eLiquid flavors. I may not think they are going to make my daily rotation, but if "Many" like a flavor, it is normally vapable)...

Gambit is hugely popular also, though if you are expecting super sweet desert apple pie, your taste buds are in for a rude awakening.
I guess I mean if a company does batches of 250 bottles, and you have a bottle that is labeled batch #063, that's somewhere in the 15750 - 16,000 range?
Had to go to lowes today, just so happens altsmoke is around the corner, so I went. Tried out the standard's whole line, also space jam and five pawns. Wasnt impressed w/ any of them really. Granted, they only had stupid clearos to sample with, but I imagine they arent that much better in an RDA.... I did like omega and pluto by space jam, but I went in looking for something like boba's. I have fruity vapes out the wahzoo, I wanted something more savory. I see what jr4 meant about gambit, it was disgusting to me too. Tasted like teriyaki chicken!!! ...? Tasted like someone mixed in garlic and honey. I went in totally hyped to try standard, love their packaging, and at that price I assumed tryin it would be likened to a religious experience. Boy was I let down. Do you guys think I was just a victim of crappy clearo's or are these juices just over hyped?
