Well, there are plenty of tobacco juices that taste nothing like cigarettes; cigarettes were and, I presume, still nasty. A good tobacco juice highlights the flavor of various tobaccos, not the thousands of other additives in cigarettes.

I don't think a pipe tobacco would work for a person steering clear of anything tobacco. :)

I haven't tried this juice, but considering the thread and your desire of a minty tobacco, here's a juice to check out: Mississippi Mint from Southern Steam. From reading reviews, it seems heavy on the mint/menthol, though. Maybe ask them before mixing to tone it down somewhat?

I have tried their other tobaccos and the tobacco is really far in the background; I think they would work well for vapers that are easing into tobacco vapes.

Thanks!!

Actually I dont like minty or menthol vapes. Sorry if I gave that impression.

Some friends that own a Vape Lounge near Boulder, CO took 2 oak barrels, filled one with GlenLivet, the other with a high end Rum. Let them sit for a few weeks, then drained the liquid, and re-filled with 2 of their house blends. Re-aged for another few weeks, and released them at a huge vape meet bash at their store last weekend. I didn't go personally, but some of my guys/gals said the flavors were really nice.
How about a bourbon barrel itself...let the bourbon flavors steep into the juice

Sorry, I assumed that because of the mint use while smoking. In any case, there are some good vendors of tobacco blends, just don't go for the pipe blends right now, though you may be surprised at how different they are from cigarettes.

Oooh. Just received the Nilsson. Did that need steeping?

For me it did. The lime was pretty overpowering FOOB and it overplayed the coconut. I've had mine for about a month I think and the lime still has a powerful kick but it has melded with the coconut now. I like the Nilsson, but I think the creamy sweet Torte mellows it perfectly and I actually taste the coconut more, but the lime kick still is wow and not muted.

Lavender is not an actual color in the "Real Man" color palate! :)
Black, White, Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, Brown, Purple, Orange. Any other color we just say, It's kinda blue, purple, whatever.

Haha actually it's a lavender sweater ;) I've had honey fig and cavendish steeping for awhile. Maybe I should try them.

I'm sure curious about pukana la as well. I really like the new reserve. I'll have to test it again. I find their reserves to be very heavy, only an after dinner vape or something. I can't imagine vaping it all day. But still very good.

Same here! And yes, I always start at 3.3v :)

I'm with ya there sister!

I think you'll be pleased with those two companies :) I know I've been.

I need your help guys.

As a smoker I hated the taste of cigarettes. I mean HATED. For all of the 26 years I smoked I had to have gum or a mint in my mouth EVERY TIME I smoked. However, I am thinking of trying some tobacco blends. I am looking for something that doesn't even remotely taste like a cigarette. Maybe a flavored pipe tobacco? Is this even possible? I have steered very clear of any juice that even hints of tobacco but after being here on this thread I think I may be missing some fabulous things. Is there hope for me? Any suggestions?

Some of the tobacco blends I find very good:
Plume Room- Candied Cavendish -good steep rounds this flavor out
Plume Room- Burley & Candy
Halo-Voodoo (but more of a gourmet than tobacco, IMO)
GoodLife- El Kamino
AVEs-Boba's and Gorilla Juice

I have a list of more to try cuz I love to break up all the sweet stuff I vape with a whole different profile. Would love to find a good tobacco/blueberry.

While the LimeFoxes haven't tried it, MOV has a blueberry tobacco: Full Flavored E-Juice, Tennessee Blend, Signature Tobacco E Liquid

No idea how it is, but I've been very impressed by their NETs (the blueberry is not a NET, though) and even their non-tobaccos are definitely high quality (I just can't vape them because of the PG).

You might want to try one of MOV's NETs. . I'm not a tobacco vapor, but Mr. Limefox is and I've tasted both Southern Gentleman and Apache. Southern Gentleman is much milder than Apache (which I describe as tasting "like a good pipe smells"). They also have some flavored tobaccos that we haven't tried (Mr. Limefox isn't big on anything but tobacco).

We did try MOV's pendragon, but it was oh-so-very-cherry that neither one of us liked it.

I've finally got a review of juices that no one here ever mentions, but I'm thinking they might not be bad once they have steeped.

I won a contest from MR Vape, and chose Chocolate Cheesecake, Peppermint Patty, and Key Lime Pie. They arrived yesterday, and have born dates of 3/05 and 3/04, so they are still pretty fresh.

Of course I had to try them FOOB. :)

Key Lime Pie is not too bad fresh. I can taste lime, but it still isn't quite ready, with undertones of what tastes like meringe. I think once it steeps, it might be quite good. It was pretty strong smelling when it arrived, but now that I've aired it out a bit, it smells quite good in the bottle.

Peppermint Patty has a cool feeling FOOB, and it has a slight taste of chocolate and a slight taste of mint. It had no scent or flavor yesterday, but this morning has a slight one, and a tiny bit more flavor than it had yesterday. It definitely needs to steep longer, but I think I will like it once I can taste it a bit more.

Chocolate cheesecake also had no scent yesterday, and only a very tiny bit of flavor. This morning, it is starting to smell good, and I think I can taste a little chocolate, and maybe graham cracker.

Their juices definitely need to be shaken and aired out, but I think they will be quite good once they have steeped. Even though they packed the Key Lime Pie in a separate zip lock bag, it's flavor was really strong when I opened the package.

Mine are 70/30, and they are in Protanks, which don't give the most flavor, so YMMV.

This is a company I probably will buy from again. They also have some really nice drip tips and things.

If you get verified and go on the classifieds here, I have some Mr Vape for sale you might like at great prices....or if you dont get verified I can just tell you flavors are berry puffs(v.good),bubblegum, apple pie and RY4....let me know ...Im selling whole lot for just 30.00
Oh, and theyre all 50/50 12 mg

Haven't decided yet but....I may start a new thread. This thread is getting clogged with a lot of off topic , non gourmet topics and repetitive juice questions that have been discussed months ago. That is what happens when a thread gets big. They become repetitive. I am so happy I could give you guys a place to chat about your fave juices.
I will let some of you know if I decide to start a new thread. I like to keep things fresh, and new, and innovative. That was the reason I started this thread in the first place, to discover new gourmet vendors. There is a lot of repetition going on here now, and not so much gourmet. Just letting you know what I'm thinking. :vapor:

Edit- this is not a personal dig at anyone. Just like to keep things fresh. Doesn't mean anything negative. May or may not do it depending on whether I have time. No need to get riled up.....
